The Beast That Brings Suffering
Antichrist, Wicked One is a 6 Faith cost Man Being from the Wrath Age, with 6 Strength and 6 Hope. His powerful ability reads: “Whenever a being is exiled, deal 1 damage to all players.” This means any exile effect, yours or theirs, inflicts wrath on everything. Play him during board-heavy scenarios or combo turns for devastating global impact.
The Rise of the Wicked One
In the first half of the seven-year covenant, the Man of Sin will rise to prominence, gaining the trust of Israel and the admiration of the nations. His words will carry powerful deception, his promises will seem like peace, and his influence will sweep across every land. Yet this season will only be the beginning. In the midst of his reign, a fatal wound will strike him, and the world will believe his story has ended. But from the depths of the bottomless pit, a spirit of destruction will rise, entering his lifeless body. He will stand again before the watching world, and in that moment, the true nature of the beast will be revealed.
The nations will marvel at this resurrection. They will cry out, "Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" - Revelation 13:4. His revival will be the counterfeit reflection of Christ’s resurrection, a twisted mockery designed to draw the hearts of men into worship. It will be the moment that transforms him from the man of sin into the Son of Perdition, wielding the authority of the dragon himself. His words will become law, his commands death to those who resist. The stage will be set for the greatest wave of persecution the earth has ever seen.
This card's verse is Revelation 13:4:
"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
He will slay Moses and Elias (Elijah), the two witnesses who will have prophesied with fire, drought, and plagues for the first half of the covenant. Their voices will be silenced in the streets of Jerusalem, and the world will celebrate their death. Yet even in this, prophecy will be fulfilled, for the God of Israel will vindicate His servants. The beast will strike Israel relentlessly, driving her into the wilderness, pursuing her with all the fury of hell, for he knows his time is short.

The Rule of the Beast and the Mark
The final three and a half years will be marked by total control. The beast will stand side by side with the false prophet, who will perform great wonders, calling fire from heaven in the sight of men. Together, they will establish the image of the beast, a living idol that demands worship. The mark will be imposed on all, rich and poor, free and bond, sealing their loyalty and damning their souls. Those who refuse will face execution, and many will lay down their lives in testimony to the Lamb.
The seat of the dragon will be his throne, his authority drawn from Satan himself. The kingdoms of the world will align under his rule, the economies of the nations will bend to his command, and the religions of men will worship his name. This will be the final kingdom before the return of Christ, a brief reign of terror before eternal judgment. Every prophecy of Daniel and John will find its fulfillment in these days, as the stone cut without hands prepares to crush the kingdoms of men and establish the everlasting kingdom of God.
Believer, these days are not appointed to us. We are the body of Christ, sealed by the Spirit, awaiting the blessed hope. As Paul wrote, "Our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ" - Philippians 3:20. We live in the age of revealed grace, justified freely by His blood, secure in the promise that we are delivered from the wrath to come. The rise of the wicked one will be a sign for the world, but we will already be in the presence of our Lord, rejoicing in the glory that was purchased for us at the cross. Our future is victory, our calling is eternal, and our hope is unshakable.
Strategic Use In Gameplay
Antichrist is a high-impact value card that punishes both sides whenever exile effects occur. He thrives in exile‑synergy decks that exile aggressively, while opponents must think twice before cleansing your board. With solid stats and built‑in pressure, he turns exile into a strategic weapon rather than a mere removal tool.
Synergies and Plays:
Mass Exile Punisher: Your exile‑based removals now act as board-wide chip damage.
Board Filler Control: Great to deploy just before mass‑exile turns or wrath clears, amplifies the value of your removals.
Resilience Threat: With 6/6 stats, he survives many exchanges. His steady damage output forces opponents to adjust their resource plans carefully.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does his ability trigger when my being is exiled too?
A: Yes. Whether you exile your own or your opponent’s, he deals 1 damage to all players, including you, so timing is crucial.
Q: Can this hurt me if I exile one of my own beings?
A: Absolutely. It's ideal to exile weaker Beings on-purpose to maximize his ability, but be aware you're also taking the hit.
Q: When is the best time to play him?
A: Deploy him on a full board, especially ahead of mass-exile plays. That way, every removal triggers additional pressure on your opponent and can influence their actions.
