Booster Packs are one of the main ways to open, Play, and collect cards from a Set.
You never know exactly which Verses are waiting inside. A Pack might give you something your Deck needs, a card missing from your Collection, a higher Rarity, or a special Variant you weren't expecting.
There are two main physical Booster experiences: Play Boosters built around Playing, Deckbuilding, and Drafting, and Collector Boosters built around premium artwork, Collectibles, and the rarest cards in the Set.
Play Booster Pack
Open, Build, Play!
Play Boosters are designed primarily to get cards into Players' hands for Deckbuilding, trading, Drafting, collecting, and regular physical Play.
Each Play Booster contains 13 cards: 7 Commons, 4 Uncommons, and 2 Rare-or-Higher cards. Those final two slots can contain either Rare or Holy Rare Verses.
Play Boosters can still contain premium Variants—including the extremely rare 1611 Art treatment—so a Pack built for Playing can still deliver an exceptional collectible pull.
Collector Booster Pack
Every Playable Card Is Premium!
Collector Boosters take the same playable Set and concentrate it into a much more premium opening experience.
Each Collector Booster contains 16 cards: 5 Commons, 5 Uncommons, 5 Rare-or-Higher cards, and 1 guaranteed Collectible Artwork Card.
Collector Boosters contain no Base Art. Every playable card appears through Full Art, Pure Art, or eligible 1611 Art treatments, giving Collectors significantly more access to the premium side of the Set.
Collector Box Topper
Finish The Box With Something Special!
Every Collector Booster Box includes one additional sealed two-card Box Topper Pack outside the normal 12 Booster Packs.
The first card is guaranteed to be a Rare-or-Higher 1611 Art Verse, with the possibility of becoming one of the Silver Serialized /7 cards or even a Gold 1/1.
The second is a guaranteed Rare-or-Higher Collectible Artwork Card, giving every Collector Booster Box a premium final reveal reserved specifically for the Box.
Genesis First Edition
The First Official Genesis Print!
Genesis First Edition is the first official professional print run of the Genesis Set and will use the final artwork recreated by individual Artists.
The limited Genesis Collector Booster printing establishes First Edition, with official Genesis Play Boosters following using the same final Artist artwork.
Collector Boosters remain a limited release, while Play Boosters can continue being produced according to demand until the next Set becomes current.

Play Booster Boxes contain 36 Packs of 13 cards and are designed around Playing, Deckbuilding, Drafting, trading, and keeping the current Set accessible.
Collector Booster Boxes contain 12 Packs of 16 cards plus a two-card Box Topper, creating a more concentrated premium experience built around Variants, Rare-or-Higher cards, Collectible Artwork Cards, and the Set's rarest physical pulls.
Different Packs create different experiences, but every opening begins with the same thing: you don't know what you've found until you open it.
