Baby Beast is a 2 Strength, 2 Hope Beast Token from the Alpha Age. As a Token, it cannot be included in your deck and is created on the battlefield through effects from cards like Wild Unicorn.

The Strength of the Young

The psalmist paints a vivid image, the wild joy of creation, the leaping of the young, the strength and freshness of life as God designed it. The young calf, the newborn beast, the unicorn in its prime strength, these are all reflections of the Creator’s handiwork. In the Word of God, the unicorn was not a mythical fantasy but a creature of real power and beauty, akin to the rhinoceros, whose horn is a symbol of dominion. Its youth was a display of potential, a sign of strength yet to be fully realized, yet already bold and unshaken.

From the first days of creation, God filled the earth with life that glorified Him. The beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, each was made to multiply, to live in harmony under the dominion of mankind. The young among them showed His delight in vitality, in energy, in the strength that only comes from Him. "Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice" - Psalm 96:12.

The youth of a beast is a reminder of the beginnings of strength, of the time before burdens have weighed it down. This image speaks of God’s ability to restore vitality, to renew strength as the eagle’s. In prophecy, the unicorn’s horn became a picture of divine authority, the unstoppable might of the One who reigns from Zion. In all creation, there is no power that exists apart from Him, for He is the source of all life.

The Greater Horn of Power

Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, came in humility but will return in power. He is the true strength, the greater horn lifted high in victory. In the Old Testament, horns represented kings, kingdoms, and the authority to rule. The young beast leaping with joy is a glimpse of the unstoppable kingdom of Christ, full of energy, vitality, and everlasting dominion. His reign will bring the restoration of all creation, the return of peace between man and beast, and the joy of the whole earth.

When He comes, the wilderness will blossom, and even the beasts will leap in delight. "The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose" - Isaiah 35:1. The strength of the young beast will no longer be wild without purpose, but perfectly aligned under the authority of the King of kings. Every horn will bow, every strength will serve Him, and all creation will sing of His glory.

Believer, you are already in the victory of Christ. His strength is your strength, His authority is your authority, and His life is your life. You are seated with Him in heavenly places, clothed in His righteousness, and filled with His Spirit. By grace through faith, you have been given eternal life and the power to walk in the fullness of His kingdom now. You are more than a conqueror, a child of God, and an heir to the glory that is soon to be revealed.
