The Bible Story Behind Elias, Severe Drought
Elias, also called Elijah, stands beside Moses as the two witnesses minister in Jerusalem for a thousand two hundred and threescore days. During the first half of the seven years, the power to shut heaven continues the sign of Elias's earlier drought, while the water and plague judgments carry Moses's authority. Together they testify against the ruler Israel has trusted and direct the nation toward her true Messiah.
Elias once stood before Ahab and declared that no rain would fall except according to his word. His drought exposed Baal's powerlessness and showed that the God of Israel alone controlled the heavens. During the Wrath Age, Elias will again shut heaven as a public testimony against idolatry, rebellion, and the counterfeit ruler followed by the nations.
Revelation 11:6 says: "These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: [...]"
The drought will continue throughout the thousand two hundred and threescore days of the witnesses' prophetic ministry. This won't be an ordinary weather pattern, but a literal judgment carried out through authority given by God. Every day without rain will proclaim that creation answers to the Lord rather than to the beast, his government, or the false gods of mankind.
Elias's earlier ministry called Israel away from Baal. He again warns Israel against idolatry and the false ruler, testifying to Jesus as the rightful Messiah. The witnesses' setting and demanded endurance belong to that future period; the church's present acceptance remains entirely through faith in Christ's finished work.
When the witnesses complete their testimony, the beast will be permitted to kill them in Jerusalem. The world will celebrate, but after three and a half days God will raise them from the dead and call them into heaven. Their resurrection will prove that the beast can't silence God's Word and will warn the nations that Christ's return at Armageddon is rapidly approaching.

Elias, Severe Drought is a powerful Resurrect Being that can Damage the whole Storyline when he is Exiled. His Resurrect Ability deals 2 Damage to all Beings, which can clear small Beings and weaken larger ones. Because this affects Friendly and Enemy Beings, timing is important. Elias is strongest when the Enemy Storyline is more vulnerable than yours, or when you're planning around the Damage.
