Pure Offering, Perfect Design
First Year Male is a Common Cattle Being from the Hebrew Age, costing 1 faith with 0 strength and 1 hope. Its ability states: “Whenever you create a being, give this being +1 strength.” Though small at first, it becomes a constant source of strength, growing more powerful each time you summon a being. This ability drives Cattle tribe synergy, thrives in aggressive strategies, and rewards snowball play.
The Offering God Required
Long before the law was ever given, and would introduce sacrificial procedure, God set a precedent, sin would be covered by sacrifice, and blood would be the payment. From the moment Adam and Eve sinned, and God clothed them with coats of skins, we see the first picture of substitution. “Without shedding of blood is no remission.” – Hebrews 9:22. It was the Lord Himself who made the first offering, teaching that true covering doesn’t come from human effort but from His provision.
That message carried through time. In Egypt, on the night of Passover, every family was told to take “a lamb… without blemish, a male of the first year” – Exodus 12:5. That lamb would take the place of the firstborn in every house. Its blood on the doorpost was their shield from judgment. Not their works, not their pedigree, just the blood. And what a picture this was of the final Lamb, who would not just save one family or one nation, but the whole world.
This card's verse is Exodus 12:5:
"Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:"
Every sacrifice from Abel to the tabernacle whispered the same truth: we need something perfect in our place. The “first year male” was a prophecy, pointing forward to a day when the perfect offering would come, one without spot or blemish, able to cover sin forever.

Jesus, The True and Final Offering
When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming, he didn’t say, “Here is a teacher” or “a leader.” He declared, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” – John 1:29. Jesus is the Lamb, perfect and holy, offered not on an altar of stone, but on a wooden cross. He didn’t need to shed His blood for His own sin, He had none! Instead, He offered Himself for us, once for all – Hebrews 10:10.
He was born under the law, fulfilled every part of it, and then became the very offering the law demanded. No more sacrifices, no more rituals, He is enough. And through faith in His finished work, we’re covered, cleansed, and completely forgiven. No more fear of judgment. No more trying to earn favor. Just grace, pure grace.
Believer, your faith rests not on a lamb from the flock, but on the Lamb from Heaven. You are not waiting for forgiveness, you already have it. You are not trying to please God by sacrifice, Jesus has pleased Him for you. Trust in that offering, rest in His love, and know this: the blood still speaks, and it says you are redeemed.
