The Tree of Life
The river of life will flow through the heart of the New Jerusalem, pure and clear, proceeding directly from the throne of God and of the Lamb. On each side of this living stream will stand the Tree of Life, heavy with twelve kinds of fruit, each ripening in its appointed month. This is the garden restored, the promise spoken in Eden now visible in full glory, where the curse is no more and the presence of God is forever.
These leaves, shimmering with the glory of heaven, will be for the healing of the nations. The kings of the earth will come, the remnant of the redeemed who walk in the light of the city, and they will receive the blessing that flows from this tree. It is not a temporary relief, but an eternal restoration, health without decay, strength without end, joy without shadow.
This card's verse is Revelation 22:2:
"In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

While the nations will partake of the tree’s healing, we will live in the fullness of the One who is Life Himself. In Him there is no need for leaves, no process of restoration, only perfect union and eternal joy. Our hope is not in what grows beside the river, but in the Lamb who is our river, our light, our eternal dwelling.
