The Promise of the Seed

From the very beginning, God’s design was complete. He created male and female in His image, blessing them, and giving them authority over all the earth. Yet within that perfect creation, He already knew the story that would unfold, the fall, the curse, and the great redemption that would come through the seed of the woman. In Eden’s tragedy, a prophecy was spoken that would echo across the ages: the seed would crush the serpent’s head.

This promise was more than a future hope. It was a declaration of certain victory, a seed of salvation planted before death ever touched the ground. The Son Who Reigns

When Jesus called Himself the Son of Man, He was not only identifying with our humanity; He was declaring Himself the promised seed. He was the heir of Adam’s blessing and the One who would restore what was lost in the garden. His miracles, His teaching, His perfect obedience, all testified that He was the fulfillment of God’s covenant. In His death, the curse was broken. In His resurrection, the promise of new life became a reality. The Son of Man has received a kingdom, and He will return to reign over all nations. The earth will be filled with His glory, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. The seed promised in Eden will be the King enthroned in Jerusalem.

Believer, you are in Christ, the true Son of Man. His victory is your victory, His righteousness is your righteousness, and His inheritance is your inheritance. By grace through faith, you are no longer under the curse but under the blessing of God. The seed that crushed the serpent now lives in you, and you walk in the power of His resurrection. You are a child of God, sealed by the Spirit, and destined to reign with Him forever.
