Intellectual Property and Fan Content Policy
1. Purpose
Bible TCG welcomes commentary, gameplay videos, collection sharing, Deck discussion, reviews and genuine fan creativity.
This Policy describes permissions granted for certain uses and identifies activities requiring additional permission. It does not transfer ownership or create an open-source license.
Mandatory legal exceptions and rights remain available.
2. Protected materials and ownership
Bible TCG Materials may include protected names, logos, card frames, symbols, layouts, original rules expression, artwork, books, videos, packaging, website content, software, databases and official identity designs.
Materials are owned by the incorporated business operating as Bible TCG or used under permission from relevant rights holders.
Actual ownership depends on applicable law, authorship and effective assignments or licenses. Scripture, public-domain material, unprotectable ideas and another person’s independent rights are not claimed merely because they appear in the project.
An AI-assisted reference is not automatically protected by copyright in every jurisdiction.
3. Trademarks and official status
Do not use protected names, branding or badges to misleadingly suggest that an unofficial product, event, account, service or business is operated, approved, licensed or endorsed by Bible TCG.
Do not register confusing domains, accounts or marks or forge Founder, Artist, League, staff, judge, grading or authentication status.
You may truthfully identify Bible TCG as the subject of commentary. Make unofficial status clear where confusion is reasonably possible.
An application or pending map listing does not authorize claims of League approval.
4. Permitted fan content
Subject to this Policy, Bible TCG permits limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable use of relevant materials in non-commercial fan content that:
-
Discusses, reviews, teaches, reports on or creatively responds to Bible TCG.
-
Uses a reasonable amount for the purpose.
-
Adds original commentary, gameplay, education or expression.
-
Avoids misleading official presentation.
-
Does not substitute for the original product or provide copied assets for reuse.
-
Respects privacy, confidentiality and applicable law.
Examples include gameplay videos, product openings, collection photographs, Deck profiles, reviews, strategy discussions and appropriate original fan art.
5. Reasonable monetization
Ordinary platform advertising, voluntary donations or channel memberships accompanying otherwise permitted commentary or gameplay are generally allowed.
This permission does not authorize selling copied artwork, cards, merchandise, downloads, books, courses, software, NFTs or subscriptions principally supplying Bible TCG Materials.
Sponsorships and endorsements must be truthful and appropriately disclosed.
6. Uses requiring separate permission
Unless already expressly authorized or permitted by a mandatory legal exception, written permission is required for:
-
Producing merchandise, commercial prints, cards, playmats, apparel or packaging using protected materials.
-
Extracting high-resolution artwork, templates, frames or source assets for reuse.
-
Republishing substantial protected portions of books, courses or databases.
-
Operating a commercial game, app or other product built from Bible TCG Materials.
-
Claiming official sponsorship, licensing, certification or partnership.
-
Using protected materials in model-training datasets or AI development.
-
Using confidential, leaked or unreleased material.
-
Granting another person rights you do not hold.
These requirements do not override a separately signed Artist or League Organizer Agreement.
7. Print And Play
Only material expressly released for Print And Play use carries that permission. Follow the conditions supplied with the files.
Unless expressly authorized, Print And Play is for personal, non-commercial use. Do not sell it as an official product, misrepresent authenticity, submit it for official grading or redistribute restricted files.
Founder early access does not transfer ownership.
Print And Play cards are not eligible Deck cards in sanctioned League competition under the published launch rules.
8. Card images and databases
Reasonably sized card images may be used where appropriate for permitted reviews, teaching, Deck discussion or reporting.
This does not authorize a competing downloadable artwork archive, bulk reproduction service, cloned publication or comprehensive commercial database.
Unauthorized bulk extraction, removal of rights information or circumvention of access controls is prohibited, subject to mandatory legal rights.
9. Fan submissions and Artist commissions
You retain rights in your original fan-created expression. Posting fan art does not automatically transfer ownership or create a commission.
Where you expressly submit public fan content for reposting, Bible TCG may repost within the permission given, with reasonable credit. A private application is not a public reposting submission.
Artist portfolios follow the limited private-review permission in the Artist Program Application Terms.
Actual commissions require a signed Master Artist Agreement and Artwork Assignment before work. Accepted artwork, commissioned preliminary materials, commercial rights, credit, portfolio permissions and any rights-return remedy follow those documents.
General website licenses do not override them. Source files, sketches and private process evidence are not automatically public.
10. Feedback and ideas
General suggestions may overlap with existing work or other submissions. Do not submit confidential ideas without an appropriate agreement.
Permission to use general feedback does not transfer copyright in a separately protected portfolio, proposed illustration, private commission file or other submitted work.
Paid development and commissioned artwork require their own agreement.
11. Counterfeits and truthful resale
Do not falsely present an item as an authentic Bible TCG product, Variant, signature, serial number, grade, certificate or sealed item.
Describe alterations, opened seals, condition and unofficial status accurately.
Authenticity checks may use available production records, identifiers and packaging information, but Bible TCG does not guarantee authentication of every third-party item or acceptance by a grading company.
12. Rights complaints and licensing requests
Send a rights complaint to rocky@bibletcg.com identifying:
-
The protected work and claimed right.
-
The material at issue and its location.
-
Your name and contact information.
-
Why you believe the use is unauthorized.
-
Your authority to make the request and confirmation that the information is accurate.
We may request relevant verification or temporarily restrict material during a good-faith investigation. Applicable notice procedures and lawful defenses remain available.
For permission requests, use “Bible TCG Licensing Request” and describe the proposed material, use, territory, duration, audience, distribution and monetization.
A request alone does not grant permission.
13. Reservation, withdrawal and contact
Unlicensed rights remain reserved.
We may withdraw this voluntary fan-content permission for unlawful, misleading, infringing or materially noncompliant uses, with an opportunity to correct where appropriate. Withdrawal does not cancel a separate signed license or a right supplied by law.
