The Bible Story Behind Heaven And Earth
After Jesus Christ returns at Armageddon, He will reign upon the earth for a thousand years. Satan will later be released for one final rebellion, only to be defeated by fire from God and cast into the lake of fire. Following the Great White Throne judgment, the present heaven and earth will pass away before the face of the One seated upon the throne.
This won't be a temporary repair of the world damaged during the wrath Age. The earth, heavens, and elements belonging to the first creation will give place to an entirely new creation in which righteousness dwells. Heaven And Earth therefore presents the final transformation after sin, death, Satan, and every remaining enemy have received their everlasting judgment.
Revelation 21:1 — “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
John sees a real new heaven and new earth, not merely a symbolic improvement in human society. The familiar division created by the present sea will no longer exist, and the former order scarred by the curse will never return. God won't abandon His creation to corruption; He will replace the old world with a perfect eternal dwelling suited to His redeemed people.
Jesus Christ is the One through whom all things were originally created, and He is also the One through whom redemption and restoration are completed. He first entered the old creation in humility, bore sin upon the cross, died, and rose again. The Lamb who redeemed His people by blood will finally remove every trace of the rebellion that brought death and sorrow into the world.
The New Jerusalem will descend from God into this new creation, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. The church will remain eternally united with Christ, while saved nations and their kings walk in the city's light and bring their glory into it. Israel, the bride, the servants, the resurrected saints, and the nations aren't made identical, yet every redeemed company will enjoy its appointed place beneath the everlasting reign of God and the Lamb.
Heaven And Earth Bible TCG Strategy
Heaven And Earth is a 0-Cost control Event that can cancel an Enemy Being's Abilities. Humble can remove powerful Abilities such as Protect, Anointing, Resurrect, Abundance, Patience, Pray, and Eternal on a legal Target. The drawback is that the Owner of the Humbled Being gains 2 points. Since this is point gain and not Damage, it doesn't cause Bible Point gain for the other Player.
A Being with active Darkness can't be selected for this Targeted Humble. With a legal Target, Humble it and give its Owner the 2 points before the Checkpoint. Owner means the Player whose Deck the card began in, or who Created its Token; it's not necessarily the current Controller.
Synergies
Ability control: Heaven And Earth Humbles Target Enemy Being and Cancels its Abilities.
0-Cost event: Heaven And Earth can be Played without using Faith, but you still need a Power Age Faith Verse in your Faith Area. It may be available or already used.
Tempo disruption: Humbling a key Enemy Being can weaken your Opponent's Storyline plan.

Q: What happens if Heaven And Earth Humbles Bride, Lamb's Wife?
A: Bride's ongoing Ability is canceled, so all other Friendly Beings on her Controller's Storyline immediately lose the +2 Strength and +2 Hope she was supplying.
Q: Could losing Bride's +2 Hope immediately Exile one of those damaged Beings?
A: Yes, but perform the connected instruction first: Humble the Bride and give her Owner 2 points. Then check the affected Beings' Current Hope and all Game-ending conditions together. A pending Resurrect can't resolve before the Owner's point gain is checked.
Q: Can Heaven And Earth remove Eternal from Jesus, Son Of God?
A: Yes. Humble cancels Eternal, leaving Jesus vulnerable to future Damage.
Q: Can the 2 points given to the Being's Owner accidentally cause me to lose the Game?
A: Yes. If your Opponent is close enough to 20 Bible Points, Heaven And Earth can push them to the winning total even though you successfully Humbled their Being.
Q: Since Heaven And Earth costs 0 Faith, can I Play it without a Power Faith Verse?
A: No. You still need at least one Power Age Faith Verse in your Faith Area, although that Faith Verse may already be used.
