Genesis Set Card 245/250
Solomon, Spirit Of Wisdom is a Common King Being from the Apocrypha, costing 5 Faith with 5 Strength, 1 Hope, 3 Reach, and 4 Move. His Prophecy Ability Gives him +1 Hope for each Verse in your Hand.
The Bible Story Behind Solomon, Spirit Of Wisdom
Solomon's prayer for wisdom places understanding above wealth, health, and royal power. First Kings 3 shows the young king asking God for the ability to judge His people, while Wisdom of Solomon brings the worth of that gift into view. Solomon, Spirit Of Wisdom presents the king receiving what neither a throne nor its treasures could supply.
The speaker remembers praying and calling upon God, and he describes the spirit of wisdom coming in answer. The order matters: he receives understanding from the One he has sought. The verse lets us hear that dependence in his own words.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:7 says: "Wherefore I prayed, and vnderstanding was giuen mee: I called vpon God, and the spirit of wisedome came to me."

Solomon valued wisdom above royal power, riches, health, beauty, and earthly honor because it enabled him to judge rightly and understand what was truly valuable. His prayer also revealed that wisdom must be received with humility. A crown could give Solomon authority over Israel, but only God could give him the understanding required to use that authority well.
Solomon's wisdom became famous throughout the nations, yet it remained the wisdom of a fallen man who later made grievous choices. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In His true humanity, He also grew as Luke 2:52 records: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." His divine identity and His real human growth belong together in the Saviour who came among us. Solomon received understanding from God, but Jesus is Himself the wisdom of God revealed to mankind.
Christ's wisdom appeared most clearly where the world expected only weakness and defeat. Through the cross, Jesus satisfied divine justice, condemned sin, defeated death, and opened the way of salvation through His blood. Human wisdom would never have designed redemption through a crucified Saviour, yet the apparent foolishness of God proved wiser than every philosophy, ruler, and strategy of man.

Solomon, Spirit Of Wisdom Bible TCG Strategy
Solomon, Spirit Of Wisdom begins with only 1 Printed Hope, but his Prophecy Ability can make him much harder to Exile. When his queued Prophecy resolves, count the Verses then in your Hand and Give that same Being that much additional Hope, if he remains on the Storyline. The Hope increase doesn't change as your Hand changes later. It's determined when the Prophecy Ability resolves and remains unless another effect changes or removes it.
Synergies
Large-Hand Strategy: Keeping several Verses in Hand before Creating Solomon Gives him a much larger Hope increase.
Draw Preparation: Drawing additional Verses before Playing Solomon increases the value of his Prophecy Ability.
Control Finishers: A large Hand built through a slower control strategy can turn Solomon into a powerful and durable late-Game Being.
Questions and Answers
Q: Does Solomon count himself when determining his Prophecy bonus?
A: No. He has already left your Hand. If you had seven Verses including Solomon before Playing him and nothing else changes your Hand before Prophecy resolves, he receives +6 Hope and reaches 7 Hope before other effects.
Q: When is the Hand size counted?
A: When his queued Prophecy resolves. Earlier Queue items may change your Hand after Solomon is Created. Later Hand changes don't alter the bonus already granted.
Q: Can Solomon's Prophecy save him from an opposing Moses, Law Of God?
A: Not by itself. Moses's continuous -1 Hope applies immediately to Solomon's 1 Printed Hope. Prophecy is recorded, but Solomon is Exiled at the Creation Check before it resolves. The pending self-buff can't affect the departed Being. An already active external Hope bonus could keep him alive.
Q: What does Humble do after Solomon has received his bonus?
A: It removes the direct Hope bonus and his Abilities. Any remaining Damage and external continuous effects still apply, so the resulting Current Hope may be 0 or less and cause Exile at the Check.
Q: What if Solomon leaves and is Created again?
A: He is a new Being with no old Damage or direct modifiers. Record a new Prophecy and use the Hand size when it resolves. A pending Ability belonging to the previous Solomon can't buff the new one.
