Divine Shield Of Heaven
Heavenly Protection is a 3 Faith Power Event that lets you Redeem a verse to deal 3 damage to all enemy Beings, potentially clearing the board in one blow, then returns a Faith verse to your hand. As a mid‑range to late‑game swing tool, it offers a powerful board reset while preserving resources.
The Final Rebellion
At the close of the thousand years of perfect rule, the King will have reigned in righteousness, His peace covering the earth like the waters of Eden. The nations will have walked under His light, prospered under His justice, and enjoyed the fullness of His blessing. Yet, when the appointed time arrives, Satan will be loosed, and the truth of every heart will be revealed. From every corner of the earth, rebellion will awaken in those who never truly surrendered to the King. They will be gathered together, countless as the sand of the sea, their ambition dark, their purpose fixed, to overthrow the Beloved King and seize His throne.
The armies will rise in one last defiant surge, their banners raised against the City of the Great King. They will march across the earth’s breadth, surrounding Jerusalem, the dwelling place of glory. They will seek to strike the heart of the Kingdom, to erase the testimony of the Righteous Judge, and to shatter the covenant that binds heaven and earth. Yet they will have no power against Him. Their multitude will be great, but their strength will be an illusion before the might of the Ancient of Days.
This card's verse is Revelation 20:9:
"And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."
As they close in, heaven will answer. Fire will descend, not the flicker of earthly flame, but the consuming blaze of God’s own judgment. It will sweep across the enemy ranks, devouring them utterly, leaving neither root nor branch. In an instant, the rebellion will be silenced, and the King’s reign will stand unshaken. This will not be a battle fought with swords, but a victory declared by fire, a testimony that no power in creation can challenge His throne.
The Wrath From Above
This moment will mark the end of all earthly defiance. The enemies of the King will perish in the very presence of His glory, their rebellion answered with perfect justice. The beloved city will remain untouched, the camp of the saints unbroken, and the throne unmovable. As it is written, "The Lord shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake" - Joel 3:16. Yet the faithful within will stand in peace, shielded by the might of their God.
What follows will prepare the way for the great white throne, where every soul outside the Lamb’s book of life will be judged according to their works. The earth and sky will flee from His face, for His holiness will consume all impurity. This final fire will purify creation, clearing the way for the new heaven and new earth, where righteousness will dwell forever.
Believer, our hope rests in the One who reigns now in our hearts and will reign openly for all to see. We are already sealed in Him, our place secure, our life hidden with Christ in God. When the fire falls, we will stand with our Bridegroom, clothed in His victory, untouched by the flames of judgment. For our Savior has borne our judgment in full, and now we live in His life, forever safe in His heavenly protection.
