King Of Kings is a Common Event from the Power Age, costing 1 Faith. It Humbles Target Enemy Being.

The Bible Story Behind King Of Kings

At the end of Daniel's seventieth week, the beast and the kings allied with him will gather their armies in open rebellion against Jesus Christ. Their military strength, political authority, and unity will appear overwhelming from an earthly perspective. King Of Kings presents the returning Lamb confronting every ruler who refuses His rightful dominion over the nations.

This won't be a balanced conflict between two competing kingdoms. Christ will descend from heaven with absolute authority, and the armies gathered against Him will be unable to resist the word proceeding from His mouth. The rulers who surrendered their kingdoms to the beast will discover that all earthly power remains temporary beneath the sovereign Son of God.

Revelation 17:14 — “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

The Lamb overcomes because His royal authority belongs inherently to Him rather than being granted by the nations. Those accompanying Him are called, chosen, and faithful, clothed in righteousness received through His grace and sharing in a victory that He alone accomplishes. Armageddon will publicly reveal that the crucified Jesus is the supreme Lord over every king, army, dominion, and power.

The One returning in power is the same Jesus who first came in meekness and allowed wicked men to crucify Him. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He defeated sin and death before openly overthrowing the rebellious kingdoms of the earth. The Lamb bears the title King of kings because the Savior who gave Himself for sinners is also the promised Son of David and rightful Governor among the nations.

After His victory, Christ will reign from Jerusalem with perfect justice. Israel will dwell beneath her Messiah, resurrected saints and servants will receive their appointed places, the bride will reign beside her Bridegroom, and the nations will be governed in righteousness. These distinct peoples won't be confused with one another, yet all authority will flow from the one King whose law and Word go forth from Zion.

King Of Kings Bible TCG Strategy

King Of Kings is a low-Cost control Event that cancels an Enemy Being's Abilities. It's useful against Enemy Beings that rely on Keywords, ongoing Abilities, or added Strength and Hope from other effects. Because it Targets, King Of Kings can't Target an Enemy Being with Darkness before that Being Interacts.

Questions and Answers

Q: What happens if King Of Kings Humbles a damaged Peter, Jewish Apostle?

A: Peter's Patience is canceled, so he loses the Protect and Abundance that Patience was giving him while damaged.

Q: Can King Of Kings stop a Resurrect Ability before I Exile the Being?

A: Yes. Humble the Being first, then Exile it. Because Resurrect is already canceled, it won't trigger from that later Exile.

Q: What happens if I Humble Gog, Of Magog after his Prophecy already gave Unclean to his other Friendly Beings?

A: The completed Prophecy isn't reversed. The other Beings keep the Unclean they were already granted unless those receivers themselves lose it.

Q: Can King Of Kings remove a Set effect such as Strength being Set to 1?

A: Yes. Humble removes the affected Being's Set modifier along with its other direct Strength and Hope modifiers. Use Printed Stats, remaining Damage, and applicable external continuous effects afterward. Setting Hope already removed all earlier Damage; Humble doesn't remove any Damage taken since that set.

Q: Why can King Of Kings be more valuable than direct Damage against a support Being?

A: A support Being may be worth more for its Ability than its Stats. Humble can shut down an entire strategy without needing to Exile the Being first.
