Royal Sovereignty is a Common Event from the Power Age, costing 1 Faith. It deals 1 Damage to Target Enemy Being and Gives it Fear.

The Bible Story Behind Royal Sovereignty

When heaven opens at Armageddon, Jesus Christ will descend upon a white horse as Faithful and True. His eyes will be as a flame of fire, many crowns will rest upon His head, and the armies of heaven will follow Him. Royal Sovereignty presents the public unveiling of Christ's absolute authority over every ruler, nation, and kingdom of the earth.

The beast and the kings gathered with him will attempt to resist the returning Lord, but their opposition will collapse before the sword proceeding from His mouth. Christ won't negotiate for the throne or depend upon human armies to secure it. He will take possession of the kingdom because all authority in heaven and earth already belongs to Him.

Revelation 19:16 — “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

The written title openly declares what the rebellious world refused to acknowledge. Every earthly king rules temporarily and beneath higher authority, but Jesus possesses sovereignty without rival, limitation, or end. The One once clothed in humility and mocked by earthly rulers will return wearing the royal name before which every crown must bow.

After overthrowing the beast's armies, Jesus will establish His throne and govern the nations in righteousness. His rule will fulfill the promises made concerning David's Son, Israel's restoration, and the kingdom centered in Jerusalem. Justice will no longer depend upon corrupt rulers, because the King who sees every heart will judge with perfect wisdom and truth.

The bride will reign beside Christ, while Israel, resurrected servants and saints, priests of Zadok, kings, and saved nations receive their appointed places within His ordered kingdom. These groups won't lose their distinct identities, yet none will possess authority independently from Jesus. Every throne, ministry, and nation will function beneath the royal sovereignty of the King of kings.

Royal Sovereignty Bible TCG Strategy

Royal Sovereignty is a low-Cost control Event that combines Damage with Fear. The 1 Damage can finish off a weak or damaged Enemy Being, while Fear stops the Target from Interacting through the end of its Owner's next Turn. This makes Royal Sovereignty useful when you need to slow down a dangerous Enemy Being, even if the 1 Damage doesn't Exile it.

Deal the Damage and apply Fear before the Checkpoint, even when the Damage will Exile the Being. Fear prevents Interaction through the end of the Being's Owner's next Turn, including intervening multiplayer Turns; it doesn't prevent Blocking or Cancel Abilities.

Synergies

  • Damage and Fear: Royal Sovereignty deals 1 Damage to Target Enemy Being and Gives it Fear.

  • Interaction control: Fear stops the Target from Interacting through the end of its Owner's next Turn.

  • Pray synergy: Since Royal Sovereignty is an Event that deals Damage, Beings with Pray can increase its Damage.

Questions and Answers

Q: What happens if Royal Sovereignty Damages a Being with patience but doesn't Exile it?

A: You may have made that Being stronger. Taking the Damage can activate its Patience even though Fear then prevents it from Moving or Challenging.

Q: Could a Feared Peter, Jewish Apostle still Protect adjacent Beings after Royal Sovereignty Damages him?

A: Yes. If Peter survives and Patience activates, he gains Protect and Abundance. Fear prevents his Interactions, but it doesn't cancel Protect.

Q: What happens if Pray makes Royal Sovereignty deal enough Damage to Exile the Target?

A: The Being is Exiled, so the Fear portion no longer has a Being on the Storyline to restrict.

Q: Can Fear stop an End of Turn Ability from triggering?

A: No. Fear prevents Move and Challenge. It doesn't cancel triggered Abilities.

Q: Why might Royal Sovereignty be better against a high-Strength attacker than a support Being?

A: Fear can deny that attacker's Ability to Challenge across the relevant Turns even when 1 Damage isn't enough to remove it.
