Sea Of Blood is a Rare Event from the Wrath Age, costing 7 Faith. It Exiles all Beings, then lets you Draw three Verses.
The Bible Story Behind Sea Of Blood
When the second vial is poured out, the sea will become as the blood of a dead man. This judgment won't affect only one river, coastline, or nation, but the sea itself on a worldwide scale. Sea Of Blood presents a literal future plague during the final portion of Daniel's seventieth week.
The oceans now support vast ecosystems, carry ships between nations, and provide food for multitudes. During this vial judgment, every living soul in the sea will die, transforming the waters into an enormous scene of death. The world's trade, food supply, travel, and confidence in the stability of creation will be struck at once.
Revelation 16:3 — “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.”
The comparison to the blood of a dead man stresses corruption, lifelessness, and complete devastation. This plague will exceed the earlier trumpet judgment in which only a third of the sea was affected. As the vials are poured out, the judgments intensify and the remaining structures of mankind's rebellious world move rapidly toward collapse.
The sea turning to blood recalls the plague upon Egypt, when the Nile became blood before Pharaoh and his gods. It also displays the authority of the same Creator who once divided the Red Sea for Israel and later calmed the waves through Jesus Christ. The waters that ordinarily serve mankind will become witnesses that creation belongs to God and answers entirely to His command.
Bible TCG places the vials after the execution of the persecuted saints. The protected remnant of Israel remains distinct from those martyrs, while the completed church is with Christ. This closing stage of wrath leads toward the King's return at Armageddon, where the game's Wrath Age ends and Power begins.
Sea Of Blood Bible TCG Strategy
Sea Of Blood is a complete Storyline Reset. It Exiles every Being, then gives you three Verses to help rebuild afterward. Because it Exiles all Beings, it affects both Friendly and Enemy Beings. It can also trigger Resurrect Abilities and other effects that care about Beings being Exiled.
Finish Sea Of Blood's instructions and their Checkpoints before resolving Resurrect or Draw triggers. A required Draw that fails can end the Game before a queued Resurrect supplies any benefit. The Resurrect triggers from simultaneous Exile still use Controller and former-Slot order, not a simultaneous resolution.
