Genesis Set Card 46/250
Wild Unicorn is a Common Beast Being from the Elder Age, costing 5 Faith with 4 Strength, 3 Hope, 2 Reach, and 3 Move. Its Prophecy Ability Creates a Young Unicorn Token.
The Bible Story Behind Wild Unicorn
Wild Unicorn represents the untamed strength of a creature named in the Bible. Numbers compares Israel's deliverance with the strength of a unicorn, while Job 39 describes a powerful animal that won't readily serve at a man's crib or plow his fields. The card preserves that biblical name and the strength Scripture gives it.
In the Elder Age, this powerful creature displays the strength God placed within His creation. Numbers 23 itself occurs much later, as Balaam speaks concerning Israel after the exodus. The comparison magnifies the power of the God who brought His people out of Egypt.
Numbers 23:22 says: "God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn."

Israel's deliverance from Egypt was compared to the strength of a unicorn because the Lord brought His people forth with power no nation could withstand. Pharaoh couldn't keep them, and Egypt's armies couldn't return them to bondage. The image declares that when God rises to deliver, no earthly power can prevent His purpose.
The greatest display of God's saving strength is found in Jesus Christ. He entered the world in humility, yet He possessed all power in heaven and on earth. Through His death and resurrection, the Son of God delivered believers from the bondage of sin, death, and condemnation.
Scripture calls Jesus the horn of salvation because He is the mighty King raised up to save His people. The law could reveal our bondage, but it couldn't break its chains. Christ fulfilled the law, bore its curse, and brought the church into liberty through grace. Our strength and salvation are found entirely in the risen Lord.

A: Yes. The Token is Played from the Out Of Game Zone and doesn't count as another Hand Play.
Q: If Wild Unicorn is Returned to my Hand and Played again later, can it Create another Token?
A: Yes. Prophecy triggers each time Wild Unicorn is successfully Created.
Q: Can the Young Unicorn Token receive a Beast-wide ongoing bonus immediately?
A: Yes. Once Created, it's a Beast Being and qualifies for applicable ongoing effects.
Q: What if Wild Unicorn fills my last open Slot?

Q: If both Wild Unicorn and its Token are Exiled at the same time while Innocent Firstling survives, how much does Firstling Gain?
A: +2 Strength and +2 Hope, one trigger for each Being Exiled.
