Genesis Set Card 20/250
Continue The Story is a Rare Event from the Stars Age, costing 5 Faith. It lets you choose Target Opponent, Roll a die, Draw that many Verses, and make that Opponent Lose that many points.
The Bible Story Behind Continue The Story
Among the signs in the heavens appears the Enthroned woman, seated in honor while looking upward toward the story unfolding before her. She is no longer pictured bound or waiting beneath oppression. Her posture speaks of dignity, expectation, and a place already prepared, presenting a people raised from weakness and established in heavenly glory.
The enthroned woman presents a people honored through their Redeemer and raised to the church's heavenly place in Christ. Romans 15:4 explains how earlier Scripture gives instruction, patience, comfort, and hope. Her settled place turns the eye toward the comfort and hope of the story still unfolding.
Romans 15:4 — “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

The Scriptures reveal the faithfulness of God across every generation. What He accomplished before teaches His people to trust what He has promised still to come. The Enthroned woman therefore looks upon the continuing story with patience and hope, knowing that the Author who began His work shall faithfully bring it to completion.
The church exists because Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and revealed the mystery of His body through the apostles. Believing Jews and Gentiles are now made one in Him, not through the law, but through the grace of God revealed in the risen Christ. Every believer has been quickened, sealed, and joined to the heavenly Head.
Our place with Christ rests entirely upon His finished work. We don't continue the story by earning favor, completing redemption, or placing ourselves beneath Israel's covenant law. Jesus has already accomplished our salvation. The church now bears witness to the unsearchable riches of Christ, proclaiming the Gospel while awaiting His appearing.

Continue The Story Bible TCG Strategy
Continue The Story can create a major swing. A high Roll gives you more Verses in Hand while also reducing your Opponent's Bible Points. Because the same Roll controls both effects, Continue The Story can be unpredictable, but its ceiling is very strong.
Synergies
Hand Refill: Continue The Story can Draw several Verses at once, helping you find more Plays.
Point Control: Making Target Opponent Lose points can slow them down or pull them away from victory.
Combo Support: Drawing multiple Verses can help combo Decks find the pieces they need for a bigger Turn.

Questions and Answers
Q: If I Roll a 5, how exactly does Continue The Story resolve?
A: You Draw five Verses, and the Target Opponent Loses 5 Bible Points. The same single die Roll determines both numbers.
Q: Does the Opponent Losing those points cause me to Gain points?
A: No. Bible Point loss isn't Damage.
Q: If a high Roll takes my Hand above seven Verses, do I immediately have to Exile down to seven?
A: No. The Hand limit is checked during your End Of Turn. During your Play Phase, you can temporarily hold more than seven Verses and use them before that Checkpoint.
Q: What happens if I control Royal Elephant when Continue The Story makes me Draw several Verses?
A: Each successful Draw records a separate Royal Elephant trigger. If you Draw five Verses, record five triggers, each of which Exiles up to four Verses when it resolves. Finish Continue The Story, including its point loss and checks, before resolving those queued triggers.

Q: What if I Roll higher than the number of Verses remaining in my Bible?
A: Complete the connected instruction: Draw as many of the required Verses as available, record any failed required Draw, and apply the Opponent's point loss. Then check Game-ending conditions. A failed Draw makes you lose at that Checkpoint unless simultaneous loss conditions produce a draw. Draw triggers never interrupt the Draws or the connected point loss.
