Glory Illuminates The City
Glorious Light is a 1 Faith Event from the Power Age that brings both resource recovery and board clearing potential. It lets you redeem a verse (return a used faith verse back to your hand), then deal 2 damage to target two lowest-strength enemy beings, and returns its own Faith cost, providing an efficient tempo swing at minimal net cost.
The Radiance of the Lamb
Before the first sunrise ever dawned, light already shone at the voice of the Creator. On the first day, God said, "Let there be light" - Genesis 1:3, and illumination flooded the formless deep, not from sun or moon, but from His very presence. This light was pure, perfect, untouched by shadow. It was a foretaste of a greater reality, when the Lamb Himself would be the eternal light of a city that will never see darkness.
In the new Jerusalem, there will be no sunrise to begin the day and no sunset to end it. The brilliance of the King will outshine every created star. The same glory that once filled the tabernacle, that caused Moses’ face to shine, that lit the burning bush in the wilderness, will fill every street and every heart. His radiance will be life, warmth, and joy, and His light will never fade.
This card's verse is Revelation 21:23:
"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."
This light will be more than brightness, it will be revelation. Every hidden thing will be seen, every shadow of misunderstanding will vanish, and every mind will be filled with the knowledge of God. "For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light" - Psalm 36:9. In His presence, truth will no longer be sought, because it will be fully known.

The Eternal Day
The Lamb’s light will be the rhythm of eternity. Nations will walk in its glow, kings will bring their treasures into it, and nothing unclean will ever approach its gates. This will be the light of victory, the proof that sin and death are forever destroyed. It will be as it was in Eden, when the Creator walked with man in perfect fellowship, yet now even greater, because redemption will have made it everlasting.
The light of Jesus will also be the healing of the nations. Where once there were wars, there will be peace. Where once there was sorrow, there will be singing. Just as the sun governs the day and moon the night, the Lamb will govern all creation with righteousness and mercy, His glory saturating every corner of His kingdom. This is the day without end, the Sabbath that never ceases.
Believer, you already walk in that glorious light. You have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light, your life now hidden in Christ, shining as a reflection of His presence. His Spirit within you is the same light that will fill the New Jerusalem. You are a child of the day, clothed in the radiance of the Lamb, carrying His brightness into a world still longing for the dawn. And when that eternal city descends, you will walk in the full blaze of His glory, never to see night again.
Strategic Use In Gameplay
Glorious Light shines in midrange and control decks that value sustained board presence and resource engine loops. Its redeem mechanic not only recycles a verse for later use, but the extra Faith verse in your hand means you're getting back a card that turn, ideal for combo builds or tempo swings. Early game, it can neutralize two small threats in one go. Later on, it becomes a strong tool for maintaining board control or fueling your hand through verse recursion.
Synergies and Plays:
Redeem Engine: Return a spent verse to your hand to reload your options, perfect for decks that rely on managing resources.
Efficient Board Control: Up to 4 total damage spread across two targets lets you handle multiple small Beings or weaken larger threats.
Faith-Free Value: Getting back your Faith verse means you're losing a faith counter, but you get a verse in exchange.

Q: What happens if fewer than two enemy Beings exist?
A: The damage distributes to available targets, 2 damage to one Being, or none if no enemy beings are present.
Q: How does Redeem work?
A: First you use faith to play the verse. Then you choose a faith verse to bring back to your hand. The verse you choose can be used to pay the cost of the verse.
