Genesis Set Card 222/250
Great White Throne is a Holy Rare Event from the Power Age, costing 5 Faith. It Humbles all Beings, Exiles all Beings, then Removes all Verses from Exile.
The Bible Story Behind Great White Throne
After Christ's thousand-year reign and satan's final rebellion, John sees a Great White Throne. Earth and heaven flee from the face of the One seated upon it, and the dead stand before God as the books are opened. Great White Throne presents the final accounting described in Revelation 20, including the book of life and the judgment of works.
The sea, death, and hell surrender the dead, and each person is judged according to his works. Those whose names aren't found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. The distinction between the books and the book of life remains central: the judgment accounts for works, while the final sentence explicitly concerns whether a name is found in the book of life. The life recorded there remains a gift of God's grace, while the books reveal the truth of every life brought before Him.
Revelation 20:13 says: "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."
The opened books will contain a complete and perfectly accurate record of each life. Every work, word, motive, and hidden act will show the righteousness of God's verdict, leaving no possibility of excuse or appeal. Because fallen works can't produce the perfect righteousness God requires, everyone whose name is absent from the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.
The Judge seated upon this throne is the same Jesus who first came to save sinners. He bore our sins upon the cross, died, was buried, and rose again so that those who believe could receive His righteousness rather than stand before God upon their own record. The Gospel offers complete justification now, before the final court exposes the hopelessness of trusting human works.
The church won't be judged at the Great White Throne as awaiting condemnation. The bride will already have been caught up, glorified, returned with Christ, and reigned beside Him throughout the thousand years. Israel, resurrected saints, faithful servants, sealed Jews, and all other redeemed people will likewise possess life through God's provision rather than through works capable of earning salvation.
Great White Throne Bible TCG Strategy
Great White Throne is one of the most complete reset Events in Bible TCG. First, it Humbles all Beings, Canceling their Abilities. Then, it Exiles all Beings. Finally, it Removes all Verses from Exile. The order matters. Because all Beings are Humbled before they are Exiled, Abilities such as Resurrect are Canceled before the Exile happens. Resolve the mass Humble and its Check before the next sentence. Beings whose Resurrect has been Canceled don't record it on a later Exile. Older triggers already queued remain. Great White Throne itself enters Exile only after its Ability finishes, so it doesn't remove itself with its own instruction.

Questions and Answers
Q: Why doesn't David, God's Heart Create five David's Cattle Tokens when Great White Throne Exiles him?
A: David is Humbled first, so his Resurrect Ability is Canceled before the Exile occurs.
Q: What happens to all the Event Verses that were already sitting in the Exile Pile?
A: After the Beings are Exiled, Great White Throne Removes all Verses from Exile, including those earlier Event Verses.
Q: Can Darkness protect a Being from Great White Throne?
A: No. Great White Throne affects all Beings without Targeting them individually.
Q: Do Tokens remain in Exile long enough to be removed by the final instruction?
A: Tokens leave the Storyline and return to the Out Of Game Zone rather than remaining as normal Verses in Exile.
Q: Does Great White Throne remove itself during its own resolution?
A: No. It isn't yet sitting in the Exile Pile while its own Ability is resolving. After its instructions finish, the Event can enter Exile normally.
