The Bible Story Behind Right Hand Sheep
After Jesus Christ returns at Armageddon, He will sit upon the throne of His glory and gather the surviving nations before Him. This judgment occurs before the thousand-year kingdom and should be distinguished from the Great White Throne judgment of the dead after the millennium. Right Hand Sheep presents the King separating those permitted to enter His earthly kingdom from those removed in judgment.
Christ will divide them as a shepherd separates sheep from goats, placing the sheep at His right hand and the goats at His left. Their treatment of "the least of these my brethren" will reveal how they responded to the King during Daniel's final week. Those who protected and cared for Christ's persecuted brethren will show faithfulness, while those who rejected them will expose their allegiance against Him.

The King's verdict expressly names their treatment of His brethren. In Bible TCG's prophetic reading, this belongs to the faith, works, and endurance of the future period and the judgment of the surviving nations. It isn't the church's present invitation to earn eternal life through charitable deeds. The passage's stated criteria remain intact, while the gospel of grace is explained from the apostolic teaching addressed to the church.
The sheep will hear the King welcome them into the kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world. They'll enter Christ's millennial reign as mortal inhabitants of the saved nations, living beneath His righteous government and producing future generations. They aren't the glorified bride, resurrected saints, or restored Israel, although they'll share the blessing of living under the same King.
The goats will be removed because their rejection of Christ's brethren revealed their rejection of the King Himself. Jesus identifies so closely with His servants that kindness or cruelty shown to them is counted as treatment of Him. The Judge who knows every heart will separate the nations perfectly, allowing no secret enemy of His kingdom to hide behind outward words.
