Genesis Set Card 7/250
Guard The Woman is an Uncommon Event from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith. It Gives Target Friendly Being +1 Strength, +2 Hope, and Protect.
The Bible Story Behind Guard The Woman
Guard The Woman brings the protected woman of Bible TCG's heavenly story together with Revelation 12. John describes a woman associated with the sun, moon, and twelve stars, a male child appointed to rule the nations, and a dragon seeking their destruction. Her identity is explained here through Israel, the nation from whom Christ came according to the flesh.
Within the Stars Age, the woman represents Israel preserved through suffering and persecution. The dragon opposes her because she brought forth the promised Messiah, yet his hatred can't cancel the covenants God made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. Though Israel has endured scattering and blindness for a season, her place in God's unfolding story remains secure.
Revelation 12:13 — “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”

The woman is persecuted because of the child who came through her, the promised King who would rule the nations. Her suffering reveals the dragon's hatred toward the purpose of God, but it also reveals his inability to overthrow it. The enemy may persecute the woman, but he can't destroy the promises of God.
Jesus came into the world through Israel according to the flesh, fulfilling the promises spoken through the law and the prophets. He was rejected, crucified, and raised from the dead, yet that rejection didn't cause God to cast away His people forever. The same Jesus who saved the church by grace will return to deliver and restore Israel.
The church isn't Israel, nor are we waiting beneath Israel's covenant law. We're the body of Christ, formed from believing Jews and Gentiles and joined to the risen Lord by the Holy Ghost. Yet Israel's preservation strengthens our confidence, because the God who keeps His ancient promises will also keep every believer who has been sealed in Christ.

Guard The Woman Bible TCG Strategy
Guard The Woman is a strong protection Event that turns one of your Friendly Beings into a better defender. The +1 Strength and +2 Hope make that Being harder to remove, while Protect helps defend adjacent Friendly Beings from Challenges. This card helps when you have an important Being beside the Target you want to protect. Since Protect prevents Challenges against adjacent Beings, positioning matters a lot when using Guard The Woman.
Synergies
Protecting Key Beings: Use Guard The Woman on a Being beside an important support Being so your Opponent can't Challenge that adjacent Being directly.
Durable Defender: The +1 Strength and +2 Hope make the Target stronger in Challenges and harder to Exile.
Positioning Control: Guard The Woman works best when your Storyline is arranged carefully, allowing the protected Being to defend the Beings directly beside it.

Questions and Answers
Q: If I Play Guard The Woman on a Being in the center of my Storyline, how many Beings can its Protect potentially defend?
A: Up to two: the Friendly Being directly beside it on the left and the Friendly Being directly beside it on the right. A Being near the edge may have only one adjacent Slot to protect.
Q: Does the Being with Protect also protect itself?
A: No. Protect prevents Challenges against adjacent Friendly Beings. The Protect Being itself can still be Challenged normally.
Q: Can my Opponent still Target the protected adjacent Being with an Event?
A: Yes. Protect affects Challenges, not Ability Targeting.
Q: What happens if the Being that received Guard The Woman is later Humbled?
A: The Protect Ability granted to it is Canceled, and the direct +1 Strength and +2 Hope modifiers from Guard The Woman are also removed. Its Printed Stats remain.
Q: Does the +2 Hope from Guard The Woman remove existing Damage?
A: No. Giving Hope and Restoring Hope are different. The Being Gains additional Hope, but any Damage Counters already on it remain.
