Genesis Set Card 36/250
Innocent Firstling is a Holy Rare Cattle Being from the Elder Age, costing 2 Faith with 0 Strength, 1 Hope, 3 Reach, and 3 Move. Whenever a Being is Exiled, Innocent Firstling Gains +1 Strength and +1 Hope.
The Bible Story Behind Innocent Firstling
In the days of Cain and Abel, both brothers brought an offering to the LORD. Cain presented the fruit of the ground, while Abel brought the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. Abel approached God with a sacrifice involving the life and blood of another, and the LORD had respect to both him and his offering.
Hebrews 11:4 identifies faith as the distinction in Abel's offering and says that he obtained witness that he was righteous. Genesis records the firstlings and their fat without narrating every instruction Abel had received. The sacrifice can be read alongside the later revelation of Christ, while faith remains the reason Hebrews gives for God's acceptance of Abel.
Genesis 4:4 — “And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:”

The firstlings were the firstborn of Abel's flock. His offering placed what he brought before the LORD, who had respect to Abel and his offering. The account doesn't make the animals' monetary value a payment for righteousness. Its connection with Christ becomes clearer through the later passages about faith, sacrifice, and the blood that speaks better things than Abel's.
Every acceptable blood sacrifice pointed forward to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. Unlike the animals offered from Abel onward, Jesus willingly laid down His own life. He was innocent, without blemish, and without sin, yet He bore our sins in His own body upon the cross.
The law later required continual sacrifices, but their blood could never take away sins. Jesus offered one perfect sacrifice for sins forever and rose again from the dead. The church isn't accepted through offerings, religious works, or obedience to the law. We're accepted in the Beloved because God has fully accepted the sacrifice of His Son.

Innocent Firstling Bible TCG Strategy
Innocent Firstling starts small, but it can grow quickly if Beings are being Exiled. Since its Ability triggers whenever any Being is Exiled, it can become a major threat during removal-heavy Turns or after several Challenges. Because it begins with 0 Strength, Innocent Firstling usually needs time or setup before it becomes dangerous.
A bonus triggered by an Exile can't rescue Firstling from the same Checkpoint that Exiles it. If its trigger was already recorded, it remains queued, but a self-buff can't affect a Firstling that has left the Storyline.
Synergies
Exile Growth: Innocent Firstling Gains +1 Strength and +1 Hope whenever a Being is Exiled.
Removal Support: Events and Abilities that Exile Beings can help Innocent Firstling grow faster.
Challenge Turns: If several Beings are Exiled through Challenges, Innocent Firstling can become much stronger.

Questions and Answers
Q: If Seven Year Famine causes four Enemy Beings to be Exiled at the same Checkpoint while my Innocent Firstling remains on the Storyline, how many bonuses can it receive?
A: Four. Record one trigger for each Being Exiled. Those triggers resolve through the Queue after the Event finishes, Giving Firstling +4 Strength and +4 Hope in total if it remains on the Storyline to receive them.
Q: What if Innocent Firstling is one of the Beings Exiled in that same mass Exile?
A: It leaves with the other Beings. Any resulting self-buff triggers wait in the Queue and can't affect the Firstling that has already left. Direct Exile happens when instructed, and Exile for 0 or less Current Hope happens at the Checkpoint, before those bonuses could resolve.
Q: Does a Token being Exiled trigger Innocent Firstling?
A: Yes. The Token was a Being when it was Exiled from the Storyline, so the Exile event can trigger Innocent Firstling before the Token returns to the Out Of Game Zone.
Q: If Innocent Firstling grows to 5 Strength and 6 Hope and is then Humbled, what happens?
A: Its Ability is Canceled, and the direct +1 Strength and +1 Hope modifiers it accumulated from that Ability are removed. Its Printed Stats remain.

Q: Can Innocent Firstling grow from both Friendly and Enemy Beings being Exiled during the same Turn?
A: Yes. Its Ability says whenever a Being is Exiled, so control doesn't matter.
