Genesis Set Card 15/250
Rising Dolphin is a Common Fish Being from the Stars Age, costing 4 Faith with 5 Strength, 3 Hope, 3 Reach, and 5 Move. It has no Ability, but its strong Stats make it a powerful midgame Being.
The Bible Story Behind Rising Dolphin
Among the signs in the heavens appears the dolphin, springing upward from the waters with strength and life. The deep beneath it presents the realm from which it has risen, while its upward movement declares escape, victory, and exaltation. It isn't sinking beneath the waves, but rising above them as a mighty conqueror emerging from the depths.
In the constellation interpretation used as a reference for Stars, the dolphin supplies a rising image beside the wounded eagle. Bible TCG connects that image with resurrection. Psalm 24, quoted on the card, is a song of the LORD's majesty and entrance as King of glory; it doesn't describe a dolphin or independently identify the events of the resurrection.
Psalm 24:8 — “Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.”

The question is answered by declaring the strength and majesty of the LORD. He isn't defeated by the enemies that stand against Him, but proves Himself mighty in battle. The Rising Dolphin therefore presents the King coming forth from the greatest conflict, having overcome that which appeared to swallow Him, and ascending in the strength of an everlasting victory.
Jesus entered the grave after bearing our sins upon the cross, but He didn't enter as one conquered by death. He laid down His life willingly and possessed authority to take it again. On the third day, God raised Him from the dead, declaring Him to be the Son of God with power and proving that the grave couldn't hold the Holy One.
Christ was delivered for our offenses and raised again for our justification. His resurrection declared that the payment for sin was complete and accepted. The church isn't striving beneath the law to obtain righteousness, for our righteousness is found in the risen Christ. We've been quickened together with Him and given everlasting life freely by grace.

Rising Dolphin Bible TCG Strategy
Rising Dolphin is a straightforward midgame threat. With 5 Strength, it can deal serious Damage in Challenges or pressure the Opponent directly if it's not Blocked. Its 5 Move also makes it very mobile, allowing it to reposition across the Storyline and find better Challenges or open lanes.
Synergies
High Strength pressure: Rising Dolphin can threaten Enemy Beings or help Gain Bible Points through direct Challenges.
Mobility: With 5 Move, Rising Dolphin can shift across the Storyline to find better positioning.
Group bonuses: Light In The Darkness can increase Rising Dolphin's Strength along with your other Friendly Beings. Prepare the bonus for a Turn when those Beings can Challenge.

Questions and Answers
Q: Rising Dolphin wants to Move three Slots and must pass through two Friendly Beings. Does 5 Move reach the destination?
A: Yes. Three Slots Cost 3 Move, and passing through two Friendly Beings costs 2 additional Move, for a total of 5.
Q: If Rising Dolphin Moves across the Storyline to find an open lane, can it Challenge the Opponent right afterward?
A: Not normally. Moving uses its Interaction for the Turn.
Q: From the center Slot, what does 3 Reach let Rising Dolphin threaten?
A: From the center of a five-Slot Storyline, 3 Reach can cover the entire opposing Storyline: the Slot directly across and two Slots to either side.
Q: What happens if Light In The Darkness gives Rising Dolphin +2 Strength before a direct Challenge?
A: Rising Dolphin reaches 7 Strength for the Turn. A successful direct Challenge therefore gives you 7 Bible Points.
Q: Is Humble useful against Rising Dolphin even though it has no Ability?
A: Humble doesn't reduce its printed 5 Strength, 3 Hope, 3 Reach, or 5 Move. It becomes useful if Rising Dolphin has received direct Strength, Hope, or Ability modifiers from another effect.
