Genesis Set Card 70/250
Sarah, Heir's Mother is an Uncommon Woman Being from the Hebrew Age, costing 5 Faith with 3 Strength, 5 Hope, 2 Reach, and 5 Move. She has Pray +2, increasing your Event Damage by 2.
The Bible Story Behind Sarah, Heir's Mother
Sarah had waited many years for the son God promised to give through her. Her Age, barrenness, and earlier mistakes couldn't prevent the word of the LORD from being fulfilled. Isaac was born not through natural strength, but through the power and faithfulness of God, making Sarah the mother of the covenant heir.
Before Isaac's birth, Sarah had tried to obtain the promise through Hagar, and Ishmael was born through that human plan. Yet God had never changed His word concerning Sarah. When Isaac finally came, the difference between the two sons became clear: one was born according to the flesh, while the heir was born according to promise.
Genesis 21:10 — “Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.”

Sarah understood that Ishmael couldn't share the place God had appointed to Isaac. God still showed mercy to Hagar and her son, but the covenant inheritance would continue through the promised child. Sarah, Heir's Mother therefore presents the separation between what mankind produces through effort and what God brings forth according to His promise.
The apostle Paul uses Sarah and Hagar to explain the difference between liberty and bondage. Hagar represents Mount Sinai and the covenant of the law, while Sarah represents the freewoman. The church isn't born through law-keeping or human performance, but through the promise of life fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the true seed of Abraham and the appointed Heir of all things. He was made under the law, fulfilled it perfectly, and bore its curse upon the cross. Through His death and resurrection, believers are delivered from bondage and made children of promise through faith, receiving the Spirit rather than attempting to establish righteousness through the flesh.
