Tread The Winepress is a 1 Faith Event from the Power Age, offering one of the most efficient targeted damage tools in the game. With its Redeem mechanic, this Event allows you to return a faith Verse to your hand after paying its cost. It deals 4 damage to a target enemy, enough to eliminate nearly any Being in the early or midgame, and even many high-cost threats later.
The Winepress of Wrath
The day will come when the King of Kings will rise from His throne, His robe dipped in the testimony of justice, His voice thundering like many waters. He will go forth in power to tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. The nations that gather against Him will face the Word of His mouth, the sword that strikes with absolute authority. This will not be a battle of equal sides, this will be the righteous judgment of the One who has all dominion.
The winepress will be outside the city, where the rebellious armies will meet their end. The ground will run with blood, a solemn witness to the unshakable truth that every knee shall bow before the Lord God Almighty. The space and depth of that flood will be unlike anything ever seen, not a poetic vision but a terrifying reality of divine retribution.
This card's verse is Revelation 14:20:
"And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs."
As the prophets wrote, this is the moment when the Lion of the tribe of Judah roars, when His enemies are made His footstool. You are redeemed, sealed, and safe in His victory. When He comes in power to crush His enemies, you will be with Him, clothed in fine linen, sharing in His triumph.
