Baal's Defeat is a Rare Event from the Israel Age, costing 4 Faith. Roll a die, then deal that much Damage to all Enemy Beings.
The Bible Story Behind Baal's Defeat
During the reign of Ahab and Jezebel, the worship of Baal spread throughout Israel and drew the nation away from the LORD. Elijah gathered the people and the prophets of Baal upon Mount Carmel, challenging Israel to stop wavering between two opinions. The God who answered by fire would be shown openly as the true God.
The prophets of Baal cried aloud, leaped upon their altar, and cut themselves from morning until evening, but no voice answered them. Elijah then repaired the broken altar of the LORD, placed the sacrifice upon it, and soaked everything with water. When he prayed, fire fell from heaven and consumed the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the dust, and the water within the trench.
1 Kings 18:40 — “And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.”

After the people fell upon their faces and confessed that the LORD alone is God, Elijah commanded that the false prophets be seized. Their judgment showed that leading Israel into idolatry wasn't a harmless religious difference, but rebellion against the covenant God who had delivered and preserved the nation.
The silence of Baal revealed the emptiness of every idol mankind trusts in place of God. Wealth, power, religion, and human wisdom can't answer the guilt of sin or give everlasting life. Jesus Christ alone revealed the Father perfectly and showed divine authority through His sinless life, mighty works, death, and resurrection.
At the cross, Jesus didn't call judgment down upon guilty sinners; He willingly received judgment in their place. He bore our sins, fulfilled the law, and rose again, destroying the works of the devil and exposing the weakness of every power opposed to God. The living sacrifice was accepted, and the resurrection became God's public declaration that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Baal's Defeat Bible TCG Strategy
Baal's Defeat is a powerful but unpredictable Storyline Damage Event. The die Roll determines how much Damage all Enemy Beings take, which means the result can range from a small sweep to a major Storyline clear. Because it affects all Enemy Beings and doesn't Target, Baal's Defeat can also Damage Enemy Beings with Darkness.
Synergies
Storyline Damage: Baal's Defeat can deal Damage to every Enemy Being at once.
High Roll: A strong die Roll can Exile many Enemy Beings in one Play.
Pray Synergy: Since Baal's Defeat is an Event that deals Damage, Beings with Pray can increase its Damage.

Questions and Answers
Q: If I Roll a 1 while Solomon, Wise Request is active, how much Damage does Baal's Defeat deal?
A: Solomon's Pray +2 increases the Event Damage from 1 to 3 against every Enemy Being.
Q: What if I Roll a 6 with Solomon active?
A: Baal's Defeat deals 8 Damage to every Enemy Being.
Q: Does Pray change the die Roll itself?
A: No. Roll the die normally. Pray increases the Damage produced by the Event after the Roll determines its base amount.
Q: What happens if different Enemy Beings have different amounts of Damage already on them?
A: Apply the same Baal's Defeat Damage to each affected Being, then determine each Being's Current Hope separately. Some may survive while others are Exiled.

Q: Why can Baal's Defeat become more reliable after Moses, Law Of God has weakened the Enemy Storyline?
A: Moses reduces Enemy Hope by 1 while active. That means even a modest Baal's Defeat Roll may become enough to Exile Beings that otherwise would have survived.
