Kingdom Like A Net
Blue Fish is a 2 Strength, 2 Hope Fish from the Stars Age. It is a Token, which means you cannot play it from your hand, it only enters the board when created by another card, like Water of Life.
The Living Waters Poured Out
The southern fish, resting beneath the figure of the water bearer in the heavens, shines as a celestial prophecy of God’s promise to pour out His living waters. From eternity past, the constellations were set as signs in the heavens, declaring the glory of the One who created them. The water bearer’s stream flows directly into the open mouth of the fish, a picture of life received from above. This is more than an image of refreshment, it is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the very breath of God poured into those who belong to Him.
Jesus spoke of these waters when He stood in the temple and cried, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink" - John 7:37. He is the source. He is the One from whom the river of life flows without measure. The southern fish drinks deeply, an eternal reminder that all who receive Him are filled with His life. This is the same river Ezekiel saw, flowing from the temple, bringing healing wherever it went, causing even the dead seas to teem with life.
This card's verse is John 21:10:
"Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught."
In the age to come, when Christ reigns on the earth, these living waters will flow from Jerusalem itself. "And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem" - Zechariah 14:8. Nations will drink from it. Creation will flourish because of it. And the Spirit, already given to the church, will be poured out upon all flesh in the fullness of His kingdom. No thirst will remain. No soul will be empty.

The Great Net and the Final Gathering
But the southern fish also tells another story, the gathering of the great net. The kingdom of heaven, Jesus said, is like a net cast into the sea, bringing in every kind. This image is one of fullness and certainty. The fisherman casts the net with intent, and not one is missed that belongs to Him. The stars above, the sea below, and the river of life all join in one testimony: the King is gathering His own.
The heavens show the end from the beginning. The water bearer pours, the fish drinks, the net is drawn in. Those caught in this divine gathering are not trapped unwillingly, but drawn by the power of His Spirit. The same Spirit who was poured out on the day of Pentecost, the same Spirit who now fills every believer, will ensure that the net is full and the catch is complete. Nothing is lost. Nothing is wasted.
Believer, we have already drunk from the living waters. We are sealed, filled, and kept by the Spirit of God, not by works, but by grace alone. Our righteousness is Christ Himself, who fulfilled the law for us and took our judgment at the cross. We are His treasure in the net, gathered for His joy and secured by His promise. The waters flow in us now, and one day we will stand in the fullness of that river, face to face with the One who poured Himself out for us. The net will be drawn, the kingdom complete, and His glory will fill all things forever.
