Genesis Set Card 30/250
Boarding The Ark is an Uncommon Event from the Elder Age, costing 1 Faith. It Gives Target Friendly Being Eternal this Turn only.
The Bible Story Behind Boarding The Ark
As the appointed flood drew near, Noah, his family, and the living creatures entered the ark according to the commandment of God. The ark wasn't discovered after the rain began, nor hastily built when judgment appeared. God had revealed the danger beforehand and graciously prepared a refuge before a single drop fell.
Those who entered were separated from the world that remained outside. The same waters that would destroy all flesh upon the dry land would lift the ark above the earth. Their safety didn't rest upon the calmness of the storm, but upon the strength of the vessel and the faithfulness of the LORD who shut them in.
Genesis 7:15 — “And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.”

Every creature entered according to the order established by God. Noah didn't invent the means of preservation, choose another vessel, or improve upon the LORD'S instructions. Boarding the ark therefore presents salvation received by entering the refuge God Himself provided before the hour of judgment arrived.
The ark offers an illustrative parallel with Jesus Christ. As judgment fell upon the ancient world, the cross reveals that divine wrath against sin is real. Yet God placed that judgment upon His own Son, who bore our sins, endured the curse of the law, and rose again as the only refuge appointed for guilty mankind.
The believer is safe because he is in Christ. We aren't preserved by keeping ourselves worthy, obeying the law perfectly, or holding tightly enough to God. Through faith in the gospel, we've been sealed with that holy Spirit of promise and joined to the Savior who has already passed through judgment for us.

Questions and Answers
Q: If my Eternal Being Challenges a stronger Enemy Being, does it still deal its own Damage?
A: Yes. Eternal prevents Damage from affecting your Being; it doesn't stop that Being from dealing its Challenge Damage.
Q: Can Unclean Exile my Eternal Being if the Unclean Being can't actually Damage it?
A: No. Unclean requires the Being to be damaged by the Being with Unclean. Eternal prevents that Damage.
Q: Can Cast Out Of Heaven still Exile a Being protected by Boarding The Ark?
A: Yes, if the Being is a legal Target. Eternal prevents Damage, not direct Exile.
Q: What happens if the Being is Humbled after receiving Eternal from Boarding The Ark?
A: Humble cancels the Eternal Ability that was directly given to that Being, so it can take Damage again.
Q: If the Being already took Damage earlier in the Turn, does Boarding The Ark remove that Damage?
A: No. Eternal prevents future Damage while active. It doesn't Restore existing Damage.
