Genesis Set Card 32/250
Deceived Woman is a Common Woman Being from the Elder Age, costing 1 Faith with 1 Strength, 1 Hope, 2 Reach, and 3 Move. It has no Ability, but it can be Created by other Verses.
The Bible Story Behind Deceived Woman
In the garden of Eden, the serpent approached the woman with a carefully disguised lie. He didn't begin by openly denying God, but by questioning what God had said and changing the meaning of His commandment. Eve listened to the deceiver, looked upon the forbidden fruit, and trusted his promise above the clear word of her Creator.
The serpent promised wisdom and advancement, but his counsel produced disobedience, shame, and death. Eve was deceived, while Adam knowingly chose to eat with her. What appeared to be a path toward greater understanding became the entrance of sin and sorrow into human experience.
Genesis 3:13 — “And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.”

Eve's answer identified the deception, but it couldn't undo the choice she had made. The serpent had twisted God's word, yet the woman was still accountable for following his voice. Deceived Woman warns that a lie becomes especially dangerous when it resembles truth while leading the heart away from confidence in God.
Even while pronouncing judgment in Eden, God revealed that the serpent wouldn't have the final victory. The seed of the woman would come, suffer a wound, and crush the serpent's head. Jesus Christ fulfilled that promise as the true Son born of a woman who came to destroy the works of the devil.
Where the serpent brought deception, Jesus revealed the truth. He obeyed the Father perfectly, bore the sins of fallen mankind upon the cross, and rose again in victory. The law exposed the guilt that began in Eden, but it couldn't free mankind from the deceiver. The church is delivered through the grace and truth that came by Jesus Christ.

Questions and Answers
Q: Can Adam, One Flesh and Deceptive Serpent both Create Deceived Woman Tokens in the same Game?
A: Yes. Each Ability independently Creates its own Deceived Woman Token when it resolves, provided you have an open Slot.
Q: If two different effects Create Deceived Woman Tokens, are those Tokens separate Beings?
A: Yes. Each occupies its own Slot and can independently Challenge, Block, receive Damage, and be affected by other Abilities.
Q: Can a Deceived Woman Token be Placed as Faith later?
A: If an effect would move that Token away from the Storyline, it returns to the Out Of Game Zone rather than remaining in another normal zone. It won't remain as a Faith Verse.
Q: If Deceived Woman needs to Move two Slots and pass through one Friendly Being, can its 3 Move do it?
A: Yes. Two Slots Cost 2 Move, and passing through the Friendly Being costs 1 more.
Q: Is Humble useful against an unmodified Deceived Woman?
A: Very little. It has no printed Ability and Humble doesn't remove its Printed Stats.
