Genesis Set Card 151/250
Grace Is Enough is an Uncommon Event from the Church Age, costing 0 Faith. It deals 1 Damage to Target Being and Gives that Being +2 Strength.
The Bible Story Behind Grace Is Enough
Paul had received extraordinary revelations and was given a thorn in the flesh, which he also calls a messenger of satan sent to buffet him. He asked the Lord three times that it might depart. The passage doesn't identify the thorn precisely, and the card doesn't require a medical diagnosis. Its focus is the answer Christ gave: His grace was enough in Paul's weakness.
The Lord answered Paul by declaring that His grace was enough and that His strength was made perfect in weakness. Paul therefore stopped viewing his infirmities only as obstacles and began recognizing them as opportunities for the power of Christ to be displayed. Grace Is Enough presents an apostle learning that weakness doesn't disqualify the believer when Christ Himself supplies the needed strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9 — “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

The request for removal received an answer different from the one Paul had sought. He could acknowledge weakness without treating it as proof that Christ had failed him. His response centered upon the power of Christ resting upon him; the passage doesn't make suffering pleasant, prescribe pain, or promise that every difficulty will be removed during this life.
Grace is more than God overlooking sin or offering occasional assistance. It's His undeserved favor freely supplied through the finished work of Jesus Christ. The Savior fulfilled the law, bore our sins upon the cross, and rose again so that everything required for our acceptance could be received as a gift rather than earned through human strength.
The apostolic letters reveal the church living entirely beneath this reign of grace. Jew and Gentile are justified by the same faith, joined to the same body, and indwelt by the same Holy Spirit. The law could expose human weakness, but only the grace of Christ could provide righteousness, spiritual life, and power for faithful service.

Grace Is Enough Bible TCG Strategy
Grace Is Enough is a flexible 0-Cost Event that can be used on either a Friendly Being or an Enemy Being. On a Friendly Being, it can trigger Damage-based synergies while also Giving that Being +2 Strength. On an Enemy Being, it can deal 1 Damage while also increasing that Being's Strength, so timing and Target choice matter. This card is especially useful with Beings that want to be damaged, such as Beings with patience.

Event synergy: Since Grace Is Enough costs 0 Faith, it works well in Decks that care about Events being Played.

Questions and Answers
Q: What happens if I Play Grace Is Enough on Rambunctious Ram while it's undamaged?
A: Rambunctious Ram takes 1 Damage, activating Patience: +3 Strength, and Grace Is Enough also Gives it +2 Strength. It goes from 0 Strength to 5 Strength while Patience remains active.
Q: Can Grace Is Enough make Paul, Truth Of Grace immediately much more dangerous?
A: Yes. If Paul survives the 1 self-Damage, Patience Gives him +5 Strength and Grace Is Enough gives another +2 Strength. Paul reaches 11 Strength before other effects.
Q: What happens if the Friendly Being has unused Anointing?
A: Anointing can ignore Grace Is Enough's 1 Damage. If the Damage is ignored, the Being doesn't become damaged and Patience won't activate from that instance, although the +2 Strength is still granted.
Q: Why might I intentionally Target an Enemy Being with Grace Is Enough?
A: The 1 Damage could finish off a Being whose Current Hope is already low enough. If the Damage Exiles it, the fact that the effect would also Give +2 Strength no longer helps that Being on the Storyline.
Q: If the +2 Strength receiver is later Humbled, what happens?
A: The direct +2 Strength modifier from Grace Is Enough is removed. Any Damage already on the Being remains.
