The Bible Story Behind Lazarus, Come Forth
Lazarus lived in Bethany with his sisters, Mary and Martha, and their family was dearly loved by Jesus. When Lazarus became sick, the sisters sent word to the Lord, but Jesus remained where He was for two more days. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead and buried for four days, leaving no natural hope of recovery.
Jesus met Martha with the declaration that He is the resurrection and the life, then joined the mourners near the tomb. He wept as He witnessed their sorrow, yet He approached death with complete authority. After the stone was removed, Jesus cried with a loud voice and personally commanded Lazarus to come forth.
John 11:44 — “And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”
Lazarus immediately emerged from the tomb, still wrapped in the burial cloths that had been placed around his body. The miracle wasn't accomplished through medicine, human effort, or a gradual recovery. The voice of Jesus entered the place of death, restored life completely, and brought the buried man back to his family.
The raising of Lazarus revealed that Jesus possessed authority over death before He entered the grave Himself. Yet Lazarus eventually died again, while Christ rose in an incorruptible and glorified body never to die again. Lazarus received restored earthly life, but Jesus became the victorious firstfruits of everlasting resurrection.
At the cross, Jesus willingly entered the death that sin had brought upon mankind. He bore our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, permanently defeating the grave. Everyone who believes in Him receives everlasting life now and the certain promise that the body will one day be raised through His power.

Lazarus, Come Forth has extremely strong Stats for his Cost, but he comes with a major limitation: he can't Interact. This means Lazarus can't normally Move or Challenge while that Ability is active. Because of this, Lazarus works best in Decks that can use his large Stats defensively, or in Decks that can Humble him to cancel his "can't Interact" Ability.

Humble setup: If Lazarus is Humbled, his "can't Interact" Ability is canceled.

A: Yes. Blocking isn't an Interaction. Lazarus can't Move or Challenge, but he can still occupy his lane and Block normally.
Q: If I Humble Lazarus, am I weakening him or improving him?
A: In this unusual case, Humble can improve him. His printed 4 Strength, 4 Hope, 4 Reach, and 4 Move remain, while the Ability preventing him from Interacting is canceled.
Q: Does Giving Lazarus more Strength fix his inability to Challenge?
A: No. His problem isn't Strength or Reach. His Ability specifically prevents Interaction.
Q: Can Fear make an already restricted Lazarus even worse?
A: It's largely redundant while his own "can't Interact" Ability is active, because Lazarus already can't Move or Challenge. Fear becomes more relevant if Lazarus's printed restriction has been canceled.
