The Bible Story Behind Moses, Water To Blood
Bible TCG identifies Moses and Elias as the two witnesses of Revelation 11. They minister in Jerusalem during the first half of Daniel's seventieth week for a thousand two hundred and threescore days. The passage doesn't name them; their identification follows the signs associated with their earlier ministries and the prophetic interpretation used in Part I.
Moses once stood before Pharaoh, exposed Egypt's false gods, and turned the waters into blood through the power of God. During Jacob's trouble, he will again confront a rebellious world through judgments resembling the plagues of Egypt. His presence will connect Israel's former deliverance from bondage with the nation's future deliverance beneath her returning King.
Revelation 11:6 — “[...] and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.”

The two witnesses will possess authority to strike the earth with plagues throughout the days of their testimony. Those attempting to harm them will be destroyed, ensuring that their prophetic ministry continues until its appointed completion. Their miracles won't be performances intended to entertain the world, but divine signs confirming God's warning, judgment, and approaching kingdom.
Within this timeline, Moses warns Israel concerning its covenant with the man of sin and directs attention toward the true Messiah. The conditions of this future testimony include the faith, obedience, and endurance described for the period. They shouldn't be confused with placing the present church beneath Moses' law for salvation. Christ remains the Savior whose blood and resurrection make deliverance possible.
At the end of their testimony, the beast will be permitted to kill the two witnesses, and their bodies will lie openly in Jerusalem while the nations celebrate. After three and a half days, God will raise them to life and call them into heaven before their enemies. Their resurrection will vindicate their testimony and announce that the beast's apparent victory is temporary, while Christ's return and kingdom are near.
