The Bible Story Behind Primeval Fish
In the opening chapter of Scripture, the waters brought forth living creatures at the commandment of God. The seas had contained no fish, whales, or moving creatures until the LORD spoke. Then the waters became abundantly filled with life, each creature formed according to the wisdom and pleasure of its Creator.
Primeval Fish represents those first creatures that moved beneath the waters during the beginning of the Elder Age. Their appearance wasn't the result of chance, struggle, or countless Ages. Life entered the seas because God commanded it to be so, and the creation immediately answered the voice of Him who made it.
Genesis 1:20 — “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, [...]”
The abundance of the waters reveals both the power and generosity of God. He didn't create one lonely creature in an empty sea, but filled the waters with creatures that moved, multiplied, and displayed His manifold wisdom. Primeval Fish therefore testifies that all life proceeds from the Word of God and remains dependent upon His will.
The One who commanded the waters is revealed in the New Testament as Jesus Christ. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. Before He entered the world as the Son of man, the eternal Word created the seas and every living creature that moved within them.
The same Lord who gave natural life at the beginning now gives everlasting life to those who believe. Mankind was dead in trespasses and sins, and the law could only reveal that death; it couldn't quicken the guilty. But through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus Christ has quickened us together with Him by grace.

However, like all 0-Cost Verses, it still needs an Elder Age Faith Verse in your Faith Area before you can Play it. That Faith Verse may be available or already used.

Q: If Primeval Fish costs 0 Faith, can I Play it before I have any Elder Faith?
A: No. You still need at least one Elder Age Faith Verse in your Faith Area. Because the Cost is 0, that Faith Verse doesn't need to be used and may already be rotated.
Q: Can temporary Faith from Praising Harp replace Primeval Fish's Elder Age Faith requirement?
A: No. Temporary generic Faith can help pay Costs, but it's not an Elder Age Faith Verse. Primeval Fish still requires an Elder Faith Verse to be present in your Faith Area.
Q: What does Primeval Fish's 0 Move mean for where I should Create it?
A: Its starting Slot matters greatly because it can't normally reposition. With only 1 Reach, it will usually threaten only the Enemy Being directly across from it.
Q: If Primeval Fish is Created beside a Being with an ongoing Fish bonus, does it receive that bonus immediately?
A: Yes, if the ongoing Ability applies to Friendly Fish. Continuous effects apply as soon as Primeval Fish becomes an eligible Being on the Storyline.
Q: Is Humble useful against an unmodified Primeval Fish?
