Genesis Set Card 76/250
Signs And Wonders is an Uncommon Event from the Torah Age, costing 1 Faith. It Returns Target Friendly Being to its Owner's Hand.
The Bible Story Behind Signs And Wonders
When Moses returned to Egypt, Pharaoh stood as the ruler of a powerful kingdom that had enslaved the children of Israel. He rejected the command of the LORD and refused to release the people. God therefore sent signs and wonders that openly displayed His authority over Pharaoh, Egypt, and the powers they worshiped.
The plagues weren't random disasters. Each judgment confirmed the word spoken through Moses and showed that the LORD alone ruled over creation. Water, animals, weather, darkness, disease, and death all obeyed His command. Through these wonders, God separated Israel from Egypt and prepared the way for His people's deliverance from bondage.
Exodus 7:3 — “And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.”

Pharaoh repeatedly resisted the LORD, and his hardened heart became the setting in which God multiplied His wonders. Every refusal brought another public example of divine power until Egypt could no longer deny who had delivered Israel. Pharaoh's resistance could delay his obedience, but it could never prevent God from fulfilling His promise.
When Jesus Christ came to Israel, His signs also revealed His identity and authority. He healed the sick, cleansed lepers, opened blind eyes, commanded storms, cast out devils, and raised the dead. These works testified that the promised Messiah and King was standing among His people, offering the kingdom foretold by the prophets.
Yet the greatest sign was still to come. Jesus gave Himself upon the cross, was buried, and rose again the third day. Pharaoh's power was broken so Israel could leave Egypt, but Christ defeated sin, death, and the curse of the law so that everyone who believes could receive everlasting life by grace.

Questions and Answers
Q: What happens if I Return Sacred Turtledove with Signs And Wonders?
A: Sacred Turtledove Returns to your Hand. If you Play and Create it again later, its Prophecy triggers again and lets you Draw another Verse.
Q: Does Returning Offering Pigeon or Thirsty Camel trigger Resurrect?
A: No. Resurrect requires the Being to be Exiled from the Storyline. Returning it to your Hand doesn't trigger Resurrect.
Q: What happens if Signs And Wonders Targets one of my Tokens?
A: The Token leaves the Storyline, but it doesn't remain in your Hand. Tokens return to the Out of Game Zone whenever they leave the Storyline.
Q: Can I use Signs And Wonders to save a Being before my Opponent can Challenge it on a later Turn?
A: Yes. Returning the Being removes it from the Storyline entirely, which can preserve an important Verse that you expect your Opponent to threaten.
Q: If Raphael, One Of Seven is active, can I Return a Being and immediately Play it again after I have already Played a Verse from my Hand that Turn?
A: No. The Returned Being is now in your Hand, so Playing it again would count as another Verse Played from your Hand. Raphael's restriction still applies.
