Genesis Set Card 28/250
Son Of Man is a Common Child Being from the Elder Age, costing 1 Faith with 1 Strength, 1 Hope, 2 Reach, and 2 Move. It has no Ability, but it can also be Created by Eve, Mother Of All.
The Bible Story Behind Son Of Man
After sin entered the garden, sorrow entered the experience of mankind. The woman who had been created to bring forth life would bear children now marked by pain. Every child born would enter a world subjected to corruption, sorrow, and death through Adam's transgression.
Yet the promise of life wasn't removed. The woman would still bring forth children, and through her seed God had already promised the destruction of the serpent. Though every ordinary son of man would inherit mortality from Adam, the generations would continue until the appointed seed of the woman came into the world.
Genesis 3:16 — “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

The verse reveals how deeply the fall affected the home, the body, and the relationships God had created. Life would continue, but it would now come through sorrow beneath the curse. Son Of Man therefore represents humanity born into Adam's fallen condition, needing a deliverer who could enter mankind's story without being overcome by its sin.
In the fullness of the time, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman and made under the law. Jesus truly became man, yet He was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born without sin. He entered the sorrow of this fallen world as the promised seed who would crush the serpent and redeem the children of Adam.
As the Son of man, Jesus fulfilled the law perfectly and then bore its curse upon the cross. He tasted death for every man, rose again, and became the last Adam and the Head of a new creation. The church isn't under Adam's condemnation or beneath the law, for we've passed from death to life in the risen Christ.

Stat support: Rise Up And Walk can Give Son Of Man extra Strength and Hope. The Strength helps its Challenges, while the Hope increases how much Damage it can withstand without removing existing Damage.

Questions and Answers
Q: If Eve Creates a Son Of Man Token, does that count as Playing a Being?
A: Yes. The Token is Played as a Being Verse from the Out of Game Zone and Created onto the Storyline without paying its Cost.
Q: Does that Token count as a Verse Played from my Hand?
A: No. It came from the Out of Game Zone, which matters against restrictions such as Raphael, One Of Seven.
Q: What happens if a Son Of Man Token is Exiled?
A: It leaves the Storyline and returns to the Out of Game Zone rather than remaining in your Exile Pile.
Q: Can a Son Of Man Token trigger an Ability that says "Whenever a Being is Exiled"?
A: Yes. It was a Being on the Storyline and was Exiled from there, so applicable Exile triggers can recognize that event even though the Token ultimately returns Out of Game.
Q: If Son Of Man Moves one Slot during my Turn, can it Challenge afterward?
A: Not normally. Moving uses its normal Interaction for that Turn.
