Tender Calf is a Common Cattle Being from the Hebrew Age, costing 1 Faith with 1 Strength, 1 Hope, 2 Reach, and 0 Move. Adjacent Cattle have +1 Hope.
The Bible Story Behind Tender Calf
As Abraham sat in the tent door during the heat of the day, three men appeared before him, and the LORD spoke among them. Abraham immediately ran to meet them, bowed himself toward the ground, and invited them to rest beneath the tree. His response showed reverence, hospitality, and an eager desire to serve those who had come to him.
Abraham didn't offer the smallest portion he could spare. He asked Sarah to prepare fine meal, brought butter and milk, and ran to the herd to choose a tender and good calf. Tender Calf therefore represents generous provision prepared with haste and gladness, as Abraham welcomed the LORD into fellowship at his table.
Genesis 18:7 — “And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.”

The calf was selected carefully and prepared without delay. Abraham's hospitality wasn't empty speech; it was shown through action, sacrifice, and the giving of something valuable from his own household. The moment teaches that true honor toward God produces willing service, not because His favor can be purchased, but because His presence is precious.
During this meal, the LORD confirmed that Sarah would bear the promised son. Yet Isaac would point forward to a greater Son, Jesus Christ, who came through Abraham's line according to the promise. God did more than receive Abraham's offering; in the fullness of time, the Father provided His own beloved Son for us.
Jesus became the perfect offering, not because mankind had prepared something worthy for God, but because God supplied what mankind could never provide. Christ fulfilled the law, gave His body upon the cross, and rose again from the dead. Through Him, the church has been brought into peace and fellowship with God entirely by grace.

Questions and Answers
Q: What happens if Tender Calf is between two Friendly Cattle?
A: Both adjacent Cattle receive +1 Hope while Tender Calf's Ability remains active.
Q: Can two Tender Calves Give the same Cattle +2 Hope?
A: Yes. If that Cattle is adjacent to both Tender Calves, each ongoing Ability can contribute its own +1 Hope.
Q: If an adjacent Cattle is Humbled, does it lose the +1 Hope coming from Tender Calf?
A: No. Tender Calf is the source of the ongoing Ability. Humbling the Cattle receiving the bonus doesn't Cancel Tender Calf's active passive effect.
Q: What happens if Tender Calf itself is Humbled?
A: Its Ability is Canceled, so the adjacent Cattle immediately stop receiving its +1 Hope.
Q: A damaged Cattle has only 1 Current Hope because of Tender Calf's +1 Hope bonus. What happens if it Moves away from Tender Calf?
A: It immediately stops receiving the +1 Hope. Recalculate its Current Hope, and if it becomes 0 or less, that Being is Exiled.
