Water Of Life is a Rare Event from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith. It has Discern, letting you choose between Giving Target Friendly Being +2 Strength and +2 Hope, or Creating a Blue Fish Token.
The Bible Story Behind Water Of Life
Among the signs in the heavens appears the water bearer, holding a great vessel from which an abundant stream pours downward. The water isn't stored away or given sparingly. It flows freely and continually, presenting a picture of life, cleansing, and blessing descending from above. The water bearer declares that God alone possesses the life that satisfies the thirsty soul.
Jesus spoke the words on this card to the woman of Samaria beside Jacob's well. Their conversation moved from the water she had come to draw toward the gift He could give. The water bearer's stream shows that abundance within Bible TCG's Stars story, while the account in John supplies the actual conversation and its meaning.
John 4:14 — “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
The water offered by Jesus isn't temporary relief for the body, but everlasting life received within. Earthly water must be taken again, but the life Christ gives becomes a continuing well in the one who believes. The water bearer therefore shows a divine supply that can't be exhausted, flowing from God and received freely by faith.
Jesus is the true source of the water of Life. He bore our sins at the cross, rose from the dead, and sent the Holy Ghost to dwell within those who trust Him. The living water flows because the price of redemption has already been paid. The crucified and risen Christ gives eternal life freely, without demanding that sinners earn it through the works of the law.
The church has received this life through grace. Every believer is sealed by the Holy Ghost, joined to Christ, and made part of His body. We aren't working beneath the law to create spiritual life within ourselves. Christ is our life, and the Spirit who dwells in us is the abiding proof that we belong to Him forever.

Water Of Life is a flexible Event that can adapt to your current Storyline. If you already have a Friendly Being worth strengthening, you can Give it +2 Strength and +2 Hope. If you need another Being instead, you can Create a Blue Fish Token. This makes Water Of Life useful in many situations. It can help one Being become a stronger threat, or it can help rebuild your Storyline by Creating a new Being.

Questions and Answers
Q: If Raphael, One Of Seven limits me to Playing one Verse from my Hand, can Water Of Life still Create a Blue Fish Token?
A: Yes. Water Of Life itself is the Verse you Played from your Hand. The Blue Fish Token is then Played from the Out Of Game Zone, so it doesn't count as a second Verse Played from your Hand.
Q: Can the Blue Fish Token trigger an Ability that cares about a Being being Created?
A: Yes. The Token is actually Created onto the Storyline, so applicable Create triggers can recognize it.
Q: What happens if the +2 Strength and +2 Hope option is later Humbled off the Target?
A: Those direct Stat modifiers are removed by Humble. Any Damage already on the Being remains.
Q: Does the +2 Hope option Restore 2 Damage?
A: No. Water Of Life Gives +2 Hope rather than Restoring Hope. The Being can withstand more total Damage, but its existing Damage Counters remain.
Q: If Adder In The Path is active and I choose the Blue Fish option, does Water Of Life still trigger Adder?
A: Yes. Water Of Life is an Event regardless of which Discern option you choose. Playing it can therefore trigger Abilities that care about Events.
