In the dawning light of the kingdom, the dragon will be silenced. The old serpent, the deceiver of nations, will be seized by the mighty hand of heaven and cast into the bottomless pit. But this rebellion will not shake the throne, fire from heaven will fall, and the enemies will be consumed in a moment. The final word belongs to the King, and His judgment is perfect.
Believer, our victory is already secure in Jesus Christ. We do not wait for chains to bind the enemy, for at the cross, the serpent’s head was crushed. We are delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. The tempter’s accusations hold no power over us, for "there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus" - Romans 8:1. We reign with Him in spirit even now, and one day, we will see the fullness of His triumph when every enemy is under His feet and His glory fills all in all.
