- Destroy The Wicked – Rare Elder Event | Bible TCG
Destroy The Wicked Base Art Genesis Set Card 38/250 Destroy The Wicked is a Rare Event from the Elder Age, costing 3 Faith. It Exiles Target Enemy Being with the highest Strength. The Bible Story Behind Destroy The Wicked Before the flood, the earth had become filled with violence and corruption. The wickedness of man was great, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. What God had created good had been defiled by sin, until the whole world stood ready for righteous judgment. The flood wasn't an uncontrolled disaster or a sudden act of anger. God had patiently warned the ancient world while Noah prepared the ark, yet mankind continued in rebellion. When the appointed day arrived, the fountains of the great deep were broken up, the windows of heaven were opened, and every refuge outside God's provision failed. Genesis 7:22 says: "All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died." Destroy The Wicked Full Art The judgment reached every living creature upon the dry land outside the ark. Strength, reputation, wealth, and earthly power couldn't preserve anyone from the sentence God had declared. Destroy The Wicked reveals that sin may continue for a season, but it can never escape the holiness and justice of the Creator. The flood points to the certainty of another coming judgment, but it also reveals God's mercy in providing a place of safety. Jesus Christ is the refuge God has given. At the cross, the righteous judgment against our sins fell upon the sinless Son of God, who bore the curse in our place and rose again from the dead. The church doesn't stand beneath the condemnation awaiting the unbelieving world. Jesus fulfilled the law, answered every charge against us, and delivered us from the wrath to come. We're justified by His blood, sealed by the Holy Ghost, and hidden in the risen Christ, not preserved by our own righteousness or obedience. Destroy The Wicked Pure Art Destroy The Wicked Bible TCG Strategy Destroy The Wicked is a focused removal Event that answers the strongest Enemy Being on the Storyline. It helps when your Opponent has one major threat with high Strength. Because it Targets the Enemy Being with the highest Strength, you need to pay attention to the full Storyline before choosing your Target. Compare Current Strength among legal Targets, excluding Beings with active Darkness. The highest-Strength Being on the Storyline may be ineligible; select the highest-Strength Being among those the Event can legally Target. Synergies High-Strength Removal: Destroy The Wicked is best against Enemy Beings with large Strength. Opening A Lane: Removing a powerful Enemy Being can help clear the way for safer Challenges or direct pressure. Event Synergy: Destroy The Wicked works well in Decks that care about Events being Played. Destroy The Wicked 1611 Art Questions and Answers Q: If two Enemy Beings are tied for the highest Strength, who chooses which one is Exiled? A: You choose one of the tied Beings that's a legal Target. Q: What if the strongest Enemy Being has Darkness and hasn't Interacted? A: If Darkness prevents you from Targeting it, that Being isn't a legal Target for Destroy The Wicked. Apply the card's Targeting requirement using the legal choices available. Q: Can Eternal or Anointing protect the chosen Being? A: No. Destroy The Wicked directly Exiles it instead of dealing Damage. Q: What happens if the strongest Being has Resurrect? A: Its active Resurrect Ability can trigger because it was Exiled from the Storyline. Destroy The Wicked Artwork Q: Can Strength buffs change which Being Destroy The Wicked must Target? A: Yes. Use the Beings' Current Strength when resolving the effect, including active modifiers that change Strength. - Shame's Awakening – Uncommon Elder Event | Bible TCG
Shame's Awakening Base Art Genesis Set Card 27/250 Shame's Awakening is an Uncommon Event from the Elder Age, costing 1 Faith. It Sets Target Being's Hope to 1. The Bible Story Behind Shame's Awakening In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had known innocence, fellowship, and freedom from guilt. But after they ate of the forbidden tree, their eyes were opened in a way the serpent hadn't honestly revealed. They didn't rise into godly wisdom or greater glory. Instead, sin awakened shame, fear, and the knowledge of their nakedness. Their first response was to sew fig leaves together and make themselves aprons. Rather than coming openly before God, they attempted to cover the evidence of their fall with the work of their own hands. The leaves could hide part of their bodies from one another, but no earthly covering could remove their guilt before the Lord. Genesis 3:7 says: "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." Shame's Awakening Full Art Their shame revealed the inward change sin produced. Man had lost his innocence and now stood exposed before God's holiness. The knowledge of good and evil didn't give Adam and Eve the power to do good or escape evil. It left them conscious of their condition and unable to restore what their disobedience had broken. Jesus entered the fallen world without sharing in its sin. He was holy, harmless, undefiled, and perfectly obedient to the Father. Yet at the cross, He allowed Himself to be stripped, mocked, and openly shamed. The sinless Son of God endured the shame that belonged to guilty mankind, bearing our sins in His own body upon the tree. The fig leaves of human righteousness can never make a sinner acceptable before God. The law reveals our nakedness, but it can't clothe us. Through faith in Jesus Christ, the believer is no longer covered by works, promises, or religious effort. We're clothed with the righteousness of Christ, accepted entirely because of His finished work. Shame's Awakening Pure Art Shame's Awakening Bible TCG Strategy Shame's Awakening is a low-Cost Event that can make a major Being much easier to Exile. By Setting a Target Being's Hope to 1, it can turn even a large threat into something that can be removed with a small amount of Damage. Because it can Target any Being, not only Enemy Beings, it can also be used on your own Being in rare situations where changing its Hope to 1 helps your strategy. Synergies Weakening Big Beings: Shame's Awakening can make high-Hope Beings much easier to remove. Damage Follow-Up: After Setting a Being's Hope to 1, even 1 Damage may be enough to Exile it. Event Synergy: Shame's Awakening works well in Decks that care about Events being Played. Shame's Awakening Artwork Questions and Answers Q: What happens when a Being with 4 Printed Hope and 2 Damage has its Hope Set to 1? A: Remove its existing direct Hope modifiers and all Damage Counters, then apply a -3 Hope modifier against its 4 Printed Hope. It has 1 Current Hope before external continuous effects. This is Set, not Restore. Q: What happens if that Being is then Humbled? A: Humble removes the -3 Hope modifier. With no Damage remaining and no external Hope effects, the Being returns to 4 Hope. Humble itself doesn't remove Damage; Setting Hope already removed it. Q: Can I Target my own Being while its Darkness is active? A: No. Active Darkness prevents Targeting by every Player, including the Being's Controller. Shame's Awakening needs a legal Target to apply its Set effect. Q: Does Set override an external Hope bonus or reduction? A: No. External continuous effects still apply. Set to 1 with Bride, Lamb's Wife Giving +2 Hope produces 3 Hope; Set to 1 under an opposing Moses, Law Of God's -1 Hope produces 0 Hope and Exile at the Check. Q: Can Eternal or Anointing prevent the Set effect? A: No. Set doesn't deal Damage. A later 1-Damage effect can Exile a Being at 1 Current Hope only if that Damage isn't prevented. - Evasive Hare – Common Stars Beast | Bible TCG
Evasive Hare Base Art Genesis Set Card 8/250 Evasive Hare is a Common Beast Being from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith with 1 Strength, 3 Hope, 1 Reach, and 3 Move. It has no Ability, but its high Move and solid Hope make it a useful early Being. The Bible Story Behind Evasive Hare Evasive Hare uses the fleeing hare of the heavenly story to picture the absence of security under judgment. Its movement recalls the helplessness of rebellion before the returning King. The scriptural reference gives the moral setting for that image: Isaiah's contrast between the peace God gives and the unrest of the wicked. Within the Stars Age, the hare appears in the portion of the story surrounding Christ's return and the judgment that follows the tribulation. The nations may resist His authority, gather against His purpose, and appear powerful for a season, but none can escape when Jesus comes in glory. Rebellion has no refuge before the rightful Ruler of the earth. Isaiah 57:21 says: "There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." Evasive Hare Full Art Isaiah 57 compares the wicked with a troubled sea that can't rest. The hare's flight carries that unrest into the heavenly story, where rebellion has no settled refuge from the King. God's promise of peace to the contrite makes the contrast personal and prophetic. The believer's assurance rests in Christ's finished work, and His peace gives a troubled heart somewhere sure to rest. When Jesus first came, He humbled Himself and allowed sinners to reject and crucify Him. When He returns, He will appear openly with power and great glory. Every eye will see Him, every false refuge will fail, and the nations will discover that the rejected Saviour is also the appointed Judge of all the earth. The church doesn't flee from His appearing as the condemned world will. Jesus already bore our sins, fulfilled the law on our behalf, and delivered us from the wrath to come. We aren't under condemnation, but hidden in Christ, clothed in His righteousness and awaiting the return of the One who purchased us with His blood. Evasive Hare Pure Art Evasive Hare Bible TCG Strategy Evasive Hare is a simple early-Game Being that gives you mobility and survival. With 3 Hope, it can take more Damage than many small Beings, and with 3 Move, it can reposition across the Storyline more easily. Even without an Ability, Evasive Hare can help you Block, set up Challenges, and protect your Storyline while you build toward stronger Plays. Synergies Early Defense: Evasive Hare can help slow down aggressive openings by occupying a Slot and taking early Damage. Mobility: With 3 Move, Evasive Hare can shift across the Storyline to Block, avoid danger, or line up a better Challenge. Stat Support: Rise Up And Walk can Give Evasive Hare extra Strength and Hope. The Strength helps its Challenges, while the Hope increases how much Damage it can withstand without removing existing Damage. Evasive Hare Artwork Questions and Answers Q: Evasive Hare wants to Move two Slots away, but one Friendly Being stands in the Slot between. Can its 3 Move make the trip? A: Yes. Moving two Slots costs 2 Move, and passing through the Friendly Being costs 1 additional Move, using all 3 of Evasive Hare's Move. Q: Can Evasive Hare end its Move in a Slot occupied by another Friendly Being? A: No. A Being may pass through Friendly Beings by paying the additional Move Cost, but its destination must be an open Slot. Q: If Evasive Hare Moves into a better lane, can it Challenge from there during the same Turn? A: Not normally. Move is its Interaction for that Turn, so it must usually wait until a later Turn to Challenge from the new position. Q: Why can 3 Move be valuable on a Being with only 1 Reach? A: Evasive Hare's short Reach makes its position especially important. Its high Move lets you shift it toward the lane you want to Block or toward an Enemy Being you want directly in front of it on a later Turn. Q: What does Humble do to an unmodified Evasive Hare? A: Very little. It has no printed Ability to Cancel, and Humble doesn't remove its Printed Stats. Humble becomes more useful against it if another effect has directly Given it Strength, Hope, or an Ability. - Good Shepherd – Rare Stars Lord | Bible TCG
Good Shepherd Base Art Genesis Set Card 24/250 Good Shepherd is a Rare Lord Being from the Stars Age, costing 7 Faith with 8 Strength, 6 Hope, 4 Reach, and 7 Move. It has Resurrect, Giving all other Friendly Beings +2 Strength and +2 Hope when it's Exiled. The Bible Story Behind Good Shepherd Good Shepherd joins the shepherd imagery of heaven with Jesus' own description of His care. In John 10, the contrast between the shepherd, the thief, and the hireling clarifies His identity. He knows His sheep and willingly lays down His life for them. Within the Stars Age, the Shepherd appears in the passage concerning Christ's return and the restoration of Israel. The children of Jacob have been scattered among the nations, but the Lord knows every place to which they've been driven. When the appointed day comes, the Shepherd of Israel shall gather His people, establish them in their land, and fulfill the promises made to their fathers. John 10:11 says: "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." Good Shepherd Full Art A good shepherd preserves the flock at a cost to himself. Jesus didn't merely speak of protecting the sheep from afar; He declared that He would give His own life for them. The Shepherd's care is therefore founded upon sacrifice, revealing a love willing to endure death that the sheep might live. Jesus fulfilled these words at His first coming. He was smitten, rejected, and crucified, while the sheep were scattered; yet He willingly laid down His life and took it again through resurrection. The Shepherd who died now lives forevermore, and the same Jesus shall return to gather Israel and reign in righteousness. Jesus is also the Head and Shepherd of the church, though the church isn't national Israel. Believing Jews and Gentiles have been made one body through faith in Christ and sealed by the Holy Ghost. We aren't kept through the works of the law, but by the grace and power of the Shepherd who purchased us with His own blood. Good Shepherd Pure Art Good Shepherd Bible TCG Strategy Good Shepherd is a powerful late-Game Being that creates major pressure while also threatening a large Resurrect payoff. Your Opponent has to deal with its 8 Strength, but if Good Shepherd is Exiled, your other Friendly Beings become much stronger. Good Shepherd is especially powerful when you already have several other Friendly Beings on the Storyline. Synergies Wide Storyline Buff: Good Shepherd is strongest when you have multiple other Friendly Beings ready to receive the +2 Strength and +2 Hope. Resurrect Pressure: Your Opponent may hesitate to Exile Good Shepherd because doing so strengthens the rest of your Storyline. Late-Game Threat: With 8 Strength, Good Shepherd is dangerous even before its Resurrect Ability triggers. Good Shepherd 1611 Art Questions and Answers Q: Does direct Exile trigger Good Shepherd's Resurrect Ability? A: Yes. Resurrect cares that Good Shepherd was Exiled from the Storyline, not whether Damage caused the Exile. Q: What happens if Good Shepherd is Humbled before it's Exiled? A: Its Resurrect Ability is Canceled, so no +2 Strength and +2 Hope bonus triggers when it's Exiled. Q: How do Return and simultaneous Resurrect affect Good Shepherd? A: Return doesn't trigger Resurrect. If David and Good Shepherd instead leave by simultaneous Exile, order their recorded triggers by Controller and former Slot. David's new Cattle receive Shepherd's bonus only if they exist when Shepherd's trigger resolves. Q: If Good Shepherd and several of my other Beings are Exiled at the same time, do those other Beings receive its Resurrect bonus? A: No. They leave the Storyline at the same time as Good Shepherd. When the Resurrect Ability resolves, only Friendly Beings that remain on the Storyline can receive the bonus. Good Shepherd Artwork Q: Can Humble later remove the +2 Strength and +2 Hope that Good Shepherd already Gave to surviving Beings? A: Yes. Those are direct Stat modifiers granted to those Beings by another effect, so Humbling one of those receivers can remove its received +2 Strength and +2 Hope. - Cast Out Of Heaven – Uncommon Stars Event | Bible TCG
Cast Out Of Heaven Base Art Genesis Set Card 5/250 Cast Out Of Heaven is an Uncommon Event from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith. It Exiles Target Enemy Being, then that Being's Owner Draws two Verses. The Bible Story Behind Cast Out Of Heaven Cast Out Of Heaven presents the humiliation of pride through the image of a dragon brought down from its height. Bible TCG places the scene within the larger conflict between the promised Redeemer and the adversary who opposes Him. The enemy's apparent greatness can't preserve his place against God's judgment. Isaiah 14 introduces this passage as a proverb against the king of Babylon. His fall exposes a ruler who exalted himself and oppressed nations. The language of Lucifer's pride and descent reaches through that earthly ruler to satan, exposing the rebellion of one who sought to exalt himself against God. The king's humiliation and the fallen adversary's judgment show where that same pride leads. Isaiah 14:12 says: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" Cast Out Of Heaven Full Art The name Lucifer and the fall from heaven give the card its central image. Revelation 12 separately identifies the dragon as satan and describes his expulsion. The cross, the future heavenly expulsion, the binding of satan, and his final judgment are distinct events within Bible TCG's account; this image recalls their common outcome without collapsing them into a single moment. Jesus entered the conflict by taking upon Himself flesh and blood. At the cross, the serpent bruised His heel, but through that very death Christ destroyed the authority of the one who held the power of death. When Jesus rose from the grave, He openly declared that sin, death, and the devil had failed to conquer the Son of God. The accuser can no longer bring a successful charge against those who are in Christ. The law exposed our sin, but Jesus fulfilled its righteousness and bore its curse for us. The church isn't under condemnation, but under the grace of the risen Christ. Our sins have been answered, our debt has been paid, and our standing rests in His victory rather than our own strength. Cast Out Of Heaven Pure Art Cast Out Of Heaven Bible TCG Strategy Cast Out Of Heaven is a powerful low-Cost removal Event. For only 2 Faith, it can remove a major Enemy Being from the Storyline. The drawback is that the Owner of the Exiled Being Draws two Verses. This means you should use Cast Out Of Heaven carefully, especially when the extra Verses could help your Opponent recover. It's strongest when removing the Enemy Being matters more than the card advantage your Opponent receives. Synergies Cheap Removal: Cast Out Of Heaven can remove a dangerous Enemy Being for only 2 Faith. Finishing Push: If an Enemy Being is Blocking your path to the Opponent, Cast Out Of Heaven can clear the way for a direct Challenge. Bible Pressure: If your Opponent is low on Verses in their Bible, forcing them to Draw two Verses can become a serious downside for them instead of a benefit. Cast Out Of Heaven Artwork Questions and Answers Q: Can Eternal or Anointing save a Being from Cast Out Of Heaven? A: No. Cast Out Of Heaven directly Exiles the Being rather than dealing Damage. Eternal and Anointing only protect against Damage. Q: Can Cast Out Of Heaven Exile a Being with Darkness before it Interacts? A: Not while Darkness is protecting it. Cast Out Of Heaven Targets the Enemy Being, so that Being must first be a legal Target. Q: What happens if the Exiled Being has Resurrect? A: Its active Resurrect Ability records a trigger because the Being was Exiled from the Storyline. Finish Cast Out Of Heaven and its Check before resolving that trigger, provided the Game continues. Q: What if my Opponent has only one Verse left in their Bible when I resolve Cast Out Of Heaven? A: They Draw the remaining Verse first. When they then need to Draw the second Verse from an empty Bible, they lose the Game. Q: Why might Cast Out Of Heaven become stronger against a nearly empty Bible even though it gives the Opponent cards? A: Early in the Game, Drawing two Verses is usually meaningful compensation for losing a Being. Near the end of the Bible, however, those forced Draws can accelerate or immediately cause a Deck-out loss. - Guard The Woman – Uncommon Stars Event | Bible TCG
Guard The Woman Base Art Genesis Set Card 7/250 Guard The Woman is an Uncommon Event from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith. It Gives Target Friendly Being +1 Strength, +2 Hope, and Protect. The Bible Story Behind Guard The Woman Guard The Woman brings together the protected woman of the heavenly story and Revelation 12. John describes a woman associated with the sun, moon, and twelve stars, a male child appointed to rule the nations, and a dragon seeking their destruction. Her identity is explained here through Israel, the nation from whom Christ came according to the flesh. Within the Stars Age, the woman represents Israel preserved through suffering and persecution. The dragon opposes her because she brought forth the promised Messiah, yet his hatred can't cancel the covenants God made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. Though Israel has endured scattering and blindness for a season, her place in God's unfolding story remains secure. Revelation 12:13 says: "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child." Guard The Woman Full Art The woman is persecuted because of the child who came through her, the promised King who would rule the nations. Her suffering reveals the dragon's hatred for God's purpose, but it also reveals his inability to overthrow it. The enemy may persecute the woman, but he can't destroy the promises of God. Jesus came into the world through Israel according to the flesh, fulfilling the promises spoken through the law and the prophets. He was rejected, crucified, and raised from the dead, yet that rejection didn't cause God to cast away His people forever. The same Jesus who saved the church by grace will return to deliver and restore Israel. The church isn't Israel, nor are we waiting beneath Israel's covenant law. We're the body of Christ, formed from believing Jews and Gentiles and joined to the risen Lord by the Holy Ghost. Yet Israel's preservation strengthens our confidence, because the God who keeps His ancient promises will also keep every believer sealed in Christ. Guard The Woman Pure Art Guard The Woman Bible TCG Strategy Guard The Woman is a strong protection Event that turns one of your Friendly Beings into a better defender. The +1 Strength and +2 Hope make that Being harder to remove, while Protect helps defend adjacent Friendly Beings from Challenges. This card helps when you have an important Being beside the Target you want to protect. Since Protect prevents Challenges against adjacent Beings, positioning matters a lot when using Guard The Woman. Synergies Protecting Key Beings: Use Guard The Woman on a Being beside an important support Being so your Opponent can't Challenge that adjacent Being directly. Durable Defender: The +1 Strength and +2 Hope make the Target stronger in Challenges and harder to Exile. Positioning Control: Guard The Woman works best when your Storyline is arranged carefully, allowing the protected Being to defend the Beings directly beside it. Guard The Woman Artwork Questions and Answers Q: If I Play Guard The Woman on a Being in the center of my Storyline, how many Beings can its Protect potentially defend? A: Up to two: the Friendly Being directly beside it on the left and the Friendly Being directly beside it on the right. A Being near the edge may have only one adjacent Slot to protect. Q: Does the Being with Protect also protect itself? A: No. Protect prevents Challenges against adjacent Friendly Beings. The Protect Being itself can still be Challenged normally. Q: Can my Opponent still Target the protected adjacent Being with an Event? A: Yes. Protect affects Challenges, not Ability Targeting. Q: What happens if the Being that received Guard The Woman is later Humbled? A: The Protect Ability granted to it is Canceled, and the direct +1 Strength and +2 Hope modifiers from Guard The Woman are also removed. Its Printed Stats remain. Q: Does the +2 Hope from Guard The Woman remove existing Damage? A: No. Giving Hope and Restoring Hope are different. The Being Gains additional Hope, but any Damage Counters already on it remain. - Virgin Birth – Common Stars Event | Bible TCG
Virgin Birth Base Art Genesis Set Card 14/250 Virgin Birth is a Common Event from the Stars Age, costing 3 Faith. It has Discern, letting you choose between Giving Target Friendly Being +4 Strength, or Giving it +4 Hope and Protect. The Bible Story Behind Virgin Birth Virgin Birth connects the virgin in the heavenly story with the promised birth of Immanuel. Isaiah 7 records the sign within God's dealings with Ahaz and the house of David during a time of political fear. Matthew 1:22-23 explicitly ties the prophecy to Jesus' conception and birth. The card's meaning rests upon that scriptural connection. The child born of Mary was conceived by the Holy Ghost, and Matthew identifies His coming as Immanuel. The heavenly picture introduces the promise the Gospel account explains. Isaiah 7:14 says: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Virgin Birth Full Art The promised birth was given as a sign because ordinary human power couldn't accomplish it. The child would be called Immanuel, declaring that God had come to dwell among His people. The virgin therefore announces both the humanity and divine identity of the promised Son: a real child born into the world, yet God manifested in the flesh. Jesus fulfilled this promise when the Holy Ghost conceived Him, and He was born of the virgin Mary. He entered the world as the only begotten Son of God, truly God and truly man. Although He shared our humanity, He was holy and without sin. The spotless Lamb had come, prepared to accomplish the work of redemption no other person could perform. Christ was born under the law and fulfilled it perfectly in every thought, word, and deed. He then offered His sinless life for those whom the law had found guilty. The church isn't made righteous by attempting to imitate His perfect obedience beneath the law. We're made the righteousness of God in Him, saved by grace through faith in His death, burial, and resurrection. Virgin Birth Pure Art Virgin Birth Bible TCG Strategy Virgin Birth is a flexible Event that can support either offense or defense. If you need pressure, you can Give a Friendly Being +4 Strength. If you need protection, you can Give a Friendly Being +4 Hope and Protect. This makes Virgin Birth useful in many different situations. It can help you win a key Challenge, protect an important Being, or set up a stronger defensive position on the Storyline. Synergies Offensive Burst: Giving +4 Strength can turn a small Being into a major threat. Defensive Protection: Giving +4 Hope and Protect can make a Being harder to Exile while helping it defend adjacent Beings. Discern Flexibility: Virgin Birth lets you choose the option that best fits the current Game state. Virgin Birth Artwork Questions and Answers Q: Does Giving a damaged Being +4 Hope also remove 4 Damage? A: No. Giving Hope changes the Being's Hope but doesn't Restore it. Its existing Damage remains. Q: What happens if the Being later gets Humbled? A: The +4 Strength or +4 Hope granted by Virgin Birth is removed, and a Protect Ability granted by Virgin Birth is Canceled. Recalculate that Being's Current Hope after the changes. Q: Can I Target my own Being with Darkness before it has Interacted? A: No. Active Darkness prevents Targeting by every Player, including the Being's Controller. You must choose another legal Target or skip the connected Targeted step if none exists. Non-Targeting effects can still affect a Being with Darkness. Q: If the Target already has Protect and I choose +4 Hope and Protect, what happens? A: It still Gains +4 Hope. Having Protect more than once doesn't create an additional Protect effect. Q: Why can the +4 Strength option sometimes be worth more than the defensive option even if the Being might die afterward? A: Strength determines both Challenge Damage and the Bible Points Gained from a direct Challenge. On a Turn where you can immediately reach the Opponent, +4 Strength may create enough extra pressure to end the Game before long-term survival matters. - Elder Ram – Uncommon Stars Cattle | Bible TCG
Elder Ram Base Art Genesis Set Card 22/250 Elder Ram is an Uncommon Cattle Being from the Stars Age, costing 6 Faith with 5 Strength, 5 Hope, 2 Reach, and 5 Move. It has Discern, letting you choose between dealing 2 Damage to Target Enemy Being or Giving Elder Ram +2 Hope and Protect. The Bible Story Behind Elder Ram Elder Ram represents the dignity of the sacrifice now associated with victory and authority. Its scriptural reference comes from Revelation 5, where John sees a Lamb standing as though slain and taking the sealed book from the One seated upon the throne. The ram carries the heavenly story's testimony of sacrifice and exaltation toward the Lamb whom John sees upon the throne. The heavenly scene brings suffering and worthiness together. The Lamb can take the book because He has prevailed, and the following song praises His redemption through blood. The ram recalls that movement from sacrifice to exaltation, directing our attention to the Redeemer's worthiness. Revelation 5:7 says: "And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne." Elder Ram Full Art The Lamb is worthy because He accomplished what no creature in heaven or earth could perform. He gave Himself without spot to God, redeemed His people by His blood, and rose victorious from the grave. The ram therefore represents the perfect sacrifice now standing as the worthy Ruler, before whom all heaven bows in worship. Jesus is both the Lamb who was slain and the Lord who now reigns. Every ram and lamb offered under the law pointed forward to Him, but those sacrifices could never take away sins. Christ offered Himself once for all, and by that one offering He perfected forever them that are sanctified. The church belongs to this heavenly Lamb. We aren't awaiting the wrath appointed to the world, for Jesus bore our wrath and delivered us from condemnation. At His appointed time, the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven, and those who belong to Him shall be caught up together to meet Him in the air. Elder Ram Pure Art Elder Ram Bible TCG Strategy Elder Ram is a strong Cattle Being that can either help control the Storyline or become harder to remove. If your Opponent has a Being you need to weaken, Elder Ram can deal 2 Damage to Target Enemy Being. If you need a durable protector instead, Elder Ram can Give itself +2 Hope and Protect. This makes Elder Ram flexible, especially in Decks that want large Beings, Cattle synergy, and strong defensive positioning. Synergies Flexible Creation: Elder Ram can either Damage an Enemy Being or strengthen itself when it's Created. Protect Setup: Giving Elder Ram Protect helps it defend adjacent Friendly Beings from Challenges. Cattle Synergy: Elder Ram works well with other Cattle support cards, especially when your Deck wants to build a strong Storyline. Elder Ram Artwork Questions and Answers Q: What if every Enemy Being is protected from Targeting by Darkness when Elder Ram is Created? A: The Damage option may have no legal Target, but the second Discern option doesn't need an Enemy Target. You can choose to Give Elder Ram +2 Hope and Protect instead. Q: Does Giving Elder Ram +2 Hope remove existing Damage from it? A: No. Giving Hope isn't Restoration. Existing Damage remains. Q: If Elder Ram later gets Humbled, what happens to the defensive Discern option? A: Humble removes the direct +2 Hope modifier and Cancels the Protect Ability granted to Elder Ram. Recalculate its Current Hope afterward. Q: Does Protect make Elder Ram itself harder to Challenge? A: No. Protect defends adjacent Friendly Beings, not the Being that has Protect. Q: How does Lost Lamb improve Elder Ram? A: Elder Ram is Cattle, so while Lost Lamb's Ability is active, Elder Ram receives +1 Strength. That makes either its normal Challenges or its role as a large Protect Being more threatening. - Water Of Life – Rare Stars Event | Bible TCG
Water Of Life Base Art Genesis Set Card 9/250 Water Of Life is a Rare Event from the Stars Age, costing 2 Faith. It has Discern, letting you choose between Giving Target Friendly Being +2 Strength and +2 Hope, or Creating a Blue Fish Token. The Bible Story Behind Water Of Life Among the signs in the heavens appears the water bearer, holding a great vessel from which an abundant stream pours downward. The water isn't stored away or given sparingly. It flows freely and continually, presenting a picture of life, cleansing, and blessing descending from above. The water bearer declares that God alone possesses the life that satisfies the thirsty soul. Jesus spoke these words to the woman of Samaria beside Jacob's well. Their conversation moved from the water she came to draw to the gift He could give. The water-bearer's stream shows the abundance in the story of the stars, while the account in John provides the actual conversation and its meaning. John 4:14 says: "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." Water Of Life Full Art The water Jesus offers isn't temporary relief for the body, but everlasting life received within. Earthly water must be taken again, but the life Christ gives becomes a continuing well in the one who believes. The water bearer therefore shows a divine supply that can't be exhausted, flowing from God and received freely by faith. Jesus is the true source of the water of Life. He bore our sins at the cross, rose from the dead, and sent the Holy Ghost to dwell within those who trust Him. The living water flows because the price of redemption has already been paid. The crucified and risen Christ gives eternal life freely, without demanding that sinners earn it through the works of the law. The church has received this life through grace. Every believer is sealed by the Holy Ghost, joined to Christ, and made part of His body. We aren't working beneath the law to create spiritual life within ourselves. Christ is our life, and the Spirit who dwells in us is the abiding proof that we belong to Him forever. Water Of Life Pure Art Water Of Life Bible TCG Strategy Water Of Life is a flexible Event that can adapt to your current Storyline. If you already have a Friendly Being worth strengthening, you can Give it +2 Strength and +2 Hope. If you need another Being instead, you can Create a Blue Fish Token. This makes Water Of Life useful in many situations. It can help one Being become a stronger threat, or it can help rebuild your Storyline by Creating a new Being. Synergies Strengthening A Key Being: Use Water Of Life to make an important Friendly Being stronger and harder to Exile. Token Creation: If you need another Being on the Storyline, Water Of Life can Create a Blue Fish Token. Flexible Play: Because of Discern, Water Of Life gives you a choice based on what the Game currently needs. Water Of Life 1611 Art Questions and Answers Q: If Raphael, One Of Seven limits me to Playing one Verse from my Hand, can Water Of Life still Create a Blue Fish Token? A: Yes. Water Of Life itself is the Verse you Played from your Hand. The Blue Fish Token is then Played from the Out Of Game Zone, so it doesn't count as a second Verse Played from your Hand. Q: Can the Blue Fish Token trigger an Ability that cares about a Being being Created? A: Yes. The Token is actually Created onto the Storyline, so applicable Create triggers can recognize it. Q: What happens if the +2 Strength and +2 Hope option is later Humbled off the Target? A: Those direct Stat modifiers are removed by Humble. Any Damage already on the Being remains. Q: Does the +2 Hope option Restore 2 Damage? A: No. Water Of Life Gives +2 Hope rather than Restoring Hope. The Being can withstand more total Damage, but its existing Damage Counters remain. Water Of Life Artwork Q: If Adder In The Path is active and I choose the Blue Fish option, does Water Of Life still trigger Adder? A: Yes. Water Of Life is an Event regardless of which Discern option you choose. Playing it can therefore trigger Abilities that care about Events. - Continue The Story – Rare Stars Event | Bible TCG
Continue The Story Base Art Genesis Set Card 20/250 Continue The Story is a Rare Event from the Stars Age, costing 5 Faith. It lets you choose Target Opponent, Roll a die, Draw that many Verses, and make that Opponent Lose that many Points. The Bible Story Behind Continue The Story Among the signs in the heavens appears the Enthroned woman, seated in honor while looking upward toward the story unfolding before her. She is no longer pictured bound or waiting beneath oppression. Her posture speaks of dignity, expectation, and a place already prepared, presenting a people raised from weakness and established in heavenly glory. The enthroned woman presents a people honored through their Redeemer and raised to the church's heavenly place in Christ. Romans 15:4 explains how earlier Scripture gives instruction, patience, comfort, and hope. Her settled place turns the eye toward the comfort and hope of the story still unfolding. Romans 15:4 says: "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." Continue The Story Full Art The Scriptures reveal God's faithfulness across every generation. What He accomplished before teaches His people to trust what He has promised still to come. The Enthroned woman therefore looks upon the continuing story with patience and hope, knowing that the Author who began His work shall faithfully bring it to completion. The church exists because Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and revealed the mystery of His body through the apostles. Believing Jews and Gentiles are made one in Him, not through the law, but through the grace of God revealed in the risen Christ. Every believer from Adam and Eve until the catching up of the Bride has been quickened, sealed, and joined to the heavenly Head. Our place with Christ rests entirely upon His finished work. We don't continue the story by earning favor, completing redemption, or placing ourselves beneath Israel's covenant law. Jesus has already accomplished our salvation. The church now bears witness to the unsearchable riches of Christ, proclaiming the Gospel while awaiting His appearing. Continue The Story Pure Art Continue The Story Bible TCG Strategy Continue The Story can create a major swing. A high Roll gives you more Verses in Hand while also reducing your Opponent's Bible Points. Because the same Roll controls both effects, Continue The Story can be unpredictable, but its ceiling is very strong. Synergies Hand Refill: Continue The Story can Draw several Verses at once, helping you find more Plays. Point Control: Making Target Opponent Lose Points can slow them down or pull them away from victory. Combo Support: Drawing multiple Verses can help combo Decks find the pieces they need for a bigger Turn. Continue The Story 1611 Art Questions and Answers Q: If I Roll a 5, how exactly does Continue The Story resolve? A: You Draw five Verses, and the Target Opponent Loses 5 Bible Points. The same single die Roll determines both numbers. Q: Does the Opponent Losing those Points cause me to Gain Points? A: No. Bible Point loss isn't Damage. Q: If a high Roll takes my Hand above seven Verses, do I immediately have to Exile down to seven? A: No. The Hand limit is checked during your End Of Turn. During your Play Phase, you can temporarily hold more than seven Verses and use them before that Check. Q: What happens if I control Royal Elephant when Continue The Story makes me Draw several Verses? A: Each successful Draw records a separate Royal Elephant trigger. If you Draw five Verses, record five triggers, each of which Exiles up to four Verses when it resolves. Finish Continue The Story, including its Point loss and Checks, before resolving those queued triggers. Continue The Story Artwork Q: What if I Roll higher than the number of Verses remaining in my Bible? A: Complete the connected instruction: Draw as many of the required Verses as available, record any failed required Draw, and apply the Opponent's Point loss. Then check Game-ending conditions. A failed Draw makes you lose at that Check unless simultaneous loss conditions produce a draw. Draw triggers never interrupt the Draws or the connected Point loss.
